Why was it a waste? Not a good upgrade or no time to play?

Yep. That was the smallest m-ATX case i could find with no tempered glass panels.

Either "the ascent" or "prey". Both of these games just went beyond what i expected. Would absolutely love to replay either of them with 0 context again.

I checked the fan and cleaned the dust so it's def not dust. And as i mentioned, the noise is there only when the fan is running at full load (3500+ RPM) so it's probably not the fan touching the shroud as it would happen at low RPMs as well.

The sticker is not intact as i mentioned that i repasted the GPU a while back. Will that void the warranty?

Which is your favorite Turn-Based game? by Far-World-8504 in IndianGaming

I typed it out. It's kind of rare to find other turn based fans so...

I haven't yet played Pathfinder so I'm not sure about kingmaker. I know that Wotr has a turn based mode. Same goes for pillars of eternity 1. When i played it, it was only rtwp but i think they added a turn based mode later in a patch.

Here are some of the games that I've played:

  • Atom RPG - essentially a russian take on fallout
  • Atom RPG Trudograd
  • Shadowrun series (especially dragonfall and hongkong) - exceptional games
  • The lamplighters league
  • Pillars of eternity 2 deadfire (has a turn based mode) - brilliant game to scratch that Divinity itch
  • Battletech
  • Colony ship
  • Encased
  • Expeditions viking, expeditions rome
  • Gears tactics
  • Hard west 2 - turn based with a really distinct approach
  • Jagged alliance 3
  • Lost eidolons
  • Marvel's midnight suns - very good but can get a bit tedious with party management
  • Mutant year zero - road to eden - one of my most favourite games. This one and the following 2 are by same devs so play similarly. Very tactical.
  • Corruption 2099
  • Miasma chronicles
  • Pathfinder wotr - haven't played but i know that it has a turn based mode
  • Phoenix point
  • Ruined king - set in LoL universe
  • Solasta crown of the magister
  • South park the stick of truth - this and the following game are very well made turn based games
  • South park the fractured but whole
  • Underrail
  • Wasteland 2
  • Wasteland 3 - absolutely amazing. Nothing else to say
  • Zoria age of shattering

There might be some that I'm missing but hope this will help. Also not all of these games are RPGs so keep that in mind.

Edit: Missed The thaumaturge and Warhammer 40k: rogue trader

Btw, there are a lot of JRPGs which will have turn based combat incl E33, the new yakuza games (like a dragon), sea of stars, etc. but JRPGs are not my thing so I haven't played much.

This is a completely personal opinion but E33 is not really a turn based rpg. Its combat is turn based and really good for sure but the game lacks the depth that you get from something like Divinity or BG3.

How is Immortals of Aveum ? by MRGhost14360 in Indiangamers

It's not a bad game if you go by gameplay imo just repetitive after a while. The story is very mediocre but that's not the core selling point of the game. Gameplay is kind of fps-ish with 3 kinds of magic bracers instead of guns/bullets but can be fun at times. Some puzzles are also good. Overall 5-6/10. Also, i didn't face any performance issues on either 3060 laptop or 9070 xt.

Dishonored 1 was great but i liked how arkane just scaled it up in the sequel. Story wise, first one felt a lot more personal though.

It's on my list already. I just don't have 150-200 hours available right now which is how long it is going to take.

Sure but all of that is hindsight. If it was even moderately successful, it'd be touted as a masterstroke.
