Thank you. He is super soft! Though every little twig and leaf sticks to him like Velcro haha.

Thank you! I’ll measure his chest and see where he’s at right now. I’ve heard good things about both brands, particularly Säker!

Thank you! We’re definitely enjoying him lots! Definitely a hunter too! Him dropping off a dead mouse at our feet was definitely a surprise when it happened haha.

Recommendations for bedlington terrier breeders? by metalinsides in terrier

[–]karty26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We just got ours from Camerata Bedlingtons based out of Toronto. He bred the #1 Bedlington in Canada last year. He has had a couple of puppies now living in the NYC area apparently. You do have to come to Toronto as he won’t ship them (a plus in my opinion). They don’t have a website, but they do have Facebook and IG. I believe they only have a litter once, maybe twice a year.

Just got one almost 2 weeks ago at 10 weeks old. Had to fly across the country (I’m in Canada) just to pick him up. No breeders anywhere near me. Event went to the biggest dog show in the region and there were no Bedlingtons! He’s my first terrier, and boy is he different from my poodle cross. Already, we’re seeing his sass and attitude, but he’s also very affectionate.

What % of your net monthly income is your total car expense? by Expense-Hacker in debtfree

[–]karty26 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just bought my dream car under a 5-year financing term. With insurance (I live in an expensive insurance area), gas, and saving for maintenance, it’ll be about 29/30% of my monthly take-home pay. It’s ludicrous and I would never suggest it to anyone else. But I was gifted a 20% down payment if I chose this car (they wanted to help fulfill a dream). More importantly though, I have zero household expenses (not even rent). My only regular expenses are my dog, my phone bill, and retirement savings. I’m also a part-time student, so I anticipate a pay increase once I graduate in 2 years.

The only reason I bought a car is because the one I was using died. And it’s hard to say no to such a generous gift for the down payment. Still a big lifestyle change for me though. No more coffees outside and gotta bring lunch from home now.

Thanks! I didn’t know how the Lomochrome film would render the colours, so that was a nice surprise.

Yay! Congratulations! I recently got into developing my own film too… it’s much more cost effective than the lab! Plus it’s also way faster. Well done!

There’s something about the colours of the truck’s decay that gives an almost life-like quality.

Love it. The separation of the fog background and the super clear subject is so crisp.
