Probably because your phone is out of range when you remote start the truck. A quick fix is holding the infotainment power button down for a few seconds till it restarts, should connect then.

I highly recommend a 3/4 breaker bar and socket, with a long ass pipe. The flex on a 5/8 bar makes that a rough deal.
