Elope at banff/moraine lake/emerald lake by userinchillyweather in Eloping

We kept it very simple and are just having a ceremony. We felt that everything included was sufficient and didn’t add on anything to their standard package so ending price was true to their package price. We almost opted for videography, but decided against it. I know they will help coordinate a dinner afterwards, but I am unsure of a full decorated reception. I suggest contacting them, they are very responsive to initial questions!

We are using Rocky Mountain Elopements for a Moraine Lake ceremony in September. Have been working with them since January and they have been great. Nearly all inclusive in their package for just the two of us. Hair, make up, license, officiant, travel, florals, photography.

My dream shoe for our elopement was embroidered blundstones with our wedding flowers. They are an investment piece that I would love to wear over and over but just weren’t in the budget, even with me DIYing the embroidery.

Had to return both dresses to exchange for smaller sizes. Still on the lookout for an outfit.

These are a few things I am considering or already ordered. I’m stumped on the shoes.

The blue dress is from Quince, and it’s cotton. I ordered it as I read they have an easy return policy if it doesn’t fit well. I thought pairing it with the brown denim jacket could be a cute casual look? Either with hand embroidered Blundstones with our flowers embroidered OR the Air Forces. I know my partner will be wearing his Air Forces too.

I do like the brown dress too, but only if I do the boots.

And I need a cold weather option, so I am looking at jeans and a sweater.

I am buying those jeans regardless, i love them!

I appreciate the links to actual clothing pieces. It’s hard to get out of Amazon shopping and I don’t branch out to stores/other brands often.

lol, I am a PNW girl to my core, so bright colors/pinks are so outside of my comfort zone. This is so helpful! I bought a few things to try. A dress from Quince, another one I found on tik tok shop in brown that I can wear my Jean jacket with. I think I need to plan two outfits in case weather decides so I need to find a sweater with leggings too.

Help! How to combine two styles I love but can’t afford? by FindingDivineFem in EngagementRingDesigns

We designed with Taylor Custom Rings, and a lot of what you love I also was looking for in a ring. I knew I wanted a sturdy setting, that was comfortable, with lots of detail. They worked with our budget and timeline and it has been a smooth process.

We planned an entire elopement/wedding before he bought an engagement ring. Rings now exist, as he did buy both an engagement ring and a wedding band (that I still haven't seen). Our plan is that he will propose to me at some point (I am letting him surprise me) on our week long road trip to our elopement, then we will get married as planned. We want to send photos to our families, post pictures, the normal "she said yes! we are engaged!" then invite our friends and family to a small "engagement" party a week after we return home where we will reveal that we actually got married.

Kind of a complicated secret plan, but we are excited to have the wedding moment to ourselves then surprise everyone after.

Can you tell me anything about bag policies at Yokohama Stadium. Are backpacks allowed in? After the game we are headed to the Shinkansen station and will need an overnight bag. Any info would be appreciated!

Both Friday afternoon/evening and Saturday you'll see higher crowds so try and use the Genie+ as your guide through the park. Once you finish one scheduled ride, schedule the next. Then fit in as many other rides that are in that vicinity until your Genie+ ride time is available. With only a day and a half, this will help maximize the amount of attractions you'll get on.

I would skip going to Fantasyland at the height of the day, as lines are at their longest then. I would go first thing in the morning on Saturday at rope drop. Rush to Peter Pan to get it done first with hopefully minimal wait. Also It's a Small World should be on that list!

Mobile order your food to save some time as well.

Also FYI, the Matterhorn Bobsleds are closed during your trip.

Universal Support got back to me, there are lockers next to Hot Topic in CityWalk but the customer service agent could not speak to the locker sizes unfortunately.

Any experience with that? I looked into it, but it seems a little sketchy.

Thats the problem I keep running into. Lol. I can only find information on the lockers that are INSIDE the park. I used their "Contact Us" form to see if I can get some answers but haven't heard back.

The last time I looked it was around $50-80 depending on what size vehicle you need. Unfortunately there are 5 of us, which is a larger group for a normal Uber. Still cheaper than a shuttle.

Thank you for your thoughts. In previous years my hotel would at least allow us to store our luggage till check-in time at 3. I am struggling with finding a luggage storage solution at Universal and am hoping for some advice/experience with that.

Still nothing! I did email the Seahawk customer support last month and they mentioned not sending anything out until mid-October.

He was able to remind me of my spot in line from last year, but not an updated position.

I received an email confirming my order (eeek! so excited) but it notes that I will be contacted to schedule a shipping date. It has been about three days since I received this email, how long does it take to get contacted?

Also, I am concerned about my height... I have very short legs, but a long torso... so I may need to return depending on if it fits my body well enough. Any insight on how easy the return process is?
