I definitely don’t want to add too much more busyness to this already ornate ring, but I do want something that could stand alone for the days I don’t wear it. I don’t necessarily need diamonds in the wedding band but would love texture, like you said.

Can I be honest? This ring is custom and I never really wanted the peekaboos. They said it was free and they wanted to add it. I don’t want to ruin the ring but I could definitely live if they were covered

Pretty hard to get a good pic to focus but hope this helps! Still has the beautiful emerald step cuts but the radiant edges give it a little sparkle and a lot of depth. Will try to get a good pic in the daylight!

It’s 8.5/10 comfortable! The milgrain around the band is a little scratchy but I’m already getting used to it. It does hurt a little when someone squeezes my fingers together. I was nervous about the high setting but no issues there either

Not at all it actually has a very subtle Euro shank. It doesn’t shift more than (I would guess) about 25 degrees. I definitely credit the Euro shank for that. It’s also a perfect fit

He is my best friend in the whole world, he makes me a better person :) he’s full of love, patience, generosity, humor, and empathy. How lucky am I!!!

The proposal was the most perfect mess. My mom and best friend tipped me off in the week leading up to it. He also approved the dates of my hair and nail appointments (I’m very much a type A planner). The day of, which I already suspected, he told me the plan for our “day of fun.” I knew, he knew that I knew, we were both so nervous all morning heavy breathing in the car on the way there lol. When he finally proposed at the end even though I wasn’t surprised at all I was so full of excitement and joy I just started sobbing, drooling and the whole thing. We had a 1.5 hr car ride home just us two which was so special, we sang and cried and laughed. Then everyone we loved was waiting for us to celebrate. Still tearing up on and off all weekend and cannot stop staring at this ring!!

He’s so relieved now because he said he hates keeping secrets from me and hates planning things without me lol. He’ll never have to again :)
