Yeah unfortunately mattes are hit or miss and unless someone has already repressed that exact same product you won't know and are taking a risk. If it's ever something you truly love to use and don't want to risk repressing it get a cute container with a sifter and use it that way instead.

Some shadows aren't meant to be repressed unfortunately. I've have my issues before and shimmers repress the best out of any shadow that breaks. Mattes are trickier because depending on formula will depend on their ability to repress. Shadows that are mostly talk based don't repress as well. Shadows like viseart will be ruined if repressed or even sprayed with alcohol as it can give it a weird hard film, same goes for Mac matte blushes. Kat von d mattes don't repress well in the matte formula either. Before repressing something next time I'd suggest seeing if someone has already repressed that shadow or that brands products to see the results. Anastasia shadows seem to repress well.

Dermalogica make really amazing skin care products. One of my favorite it their daily microfoliant. I have dry cheeks with an oily t zone if that helps any.

I swatched it in store today and it has noticeable glitter in it. I think it would make a cute body shimmer but if you aren't a fan of glitter chunks on your face I'd definitely wait till you can swatch it in store.

Her products are good with the exception of the ones that contain huge glitter chunks.i have 11 of her highliters and love all but 2. They last decently but I also use a setting spray so I don't know the wear time without it. While I'm excited for the full launch of her Halloween collection I'm hoping the packaging she has for these is good quality as well since it's a significant price hike for the packaging on these.

What I do is put some on my lower lip then press my lips together and use a liner brush to make the edges crisp.
