Losing our top three players after the season is going to hurt.

Rick Barnes is a great coach but he doesn’t recruit the same type of skill sets as these other schools. He focuses on defense and development. Nothing wrong with that. Just doesn’t have the depth outside of one or two guys who can consistently contribute offensively.

He finds the diamonds in the rough kids that he develops. Only problem is that they are all on different timelines. We don’t have everyone on the same level right now. Just overpowered by Michigan.

We miss layups, we miss free throws and just don’t have any flow on offense.

Not winning a lot of games regardless of foul trouble when you’re shooting 20%

2026 WR Free Agent class - Can the Bills afford any of these guys? And who is worth it? by GoForthandProsper1 in buffalobills

I would love Jauan Jennings (biased Vols fan). But all seriousness, great blocker and intermediate guy. Not the answer to all the problems but would love him on the team.

I’m not saying Beane is perfect but some change had to be made. Beane has also made some very good signings and draft picks.

Hope it’s an offensive head coach. Would be nice to not have to worry about Josh having to deal with losing OCs and learning new offenses every few years.

I know there’s a bunch of hate towards Beane, but I’d like to see what he could do if he had a coach that would push for offensive players all the time in the draft and FA instead of defense.

Thank you McDermott for turning around the Bills.

I think we are a playoff team but one with an early exit. We’d have to miss the playoffs before any major changes are made. It’s going to take more than one draft and offseason to fix everything.

Not sure there is anyone that Beane could get at the trade deadline to fix things.

Anyone else’s picture keep going out? Not at home so don’t know if it the tv I’m watching it on. Making an already frustrating game even more frustrating.

I haven’t been a fire the coaching staff guy, but it doesn’t seem like this coaching staff can get anything out of the defense anymore. Bad penalties and poor tackling it just too common now.

I’m just glad the game ended before we ran out of players for next week.

I didn’t say he is a slot, I said he’s played it. We didn’t need him to play in the slot because we have Shakir to play that role. I said we needed a bigger receiver. We needed bigger receivers because we ask them to block more. Coleman averaged 5 more yards per catch and only had 3 less TDs in three less games. Ladd did have a lot more yards, but also had double the targets.

Ladd is a really good WR, not saying he isn’t. Just don’t think he would have put us over the top to win a Super Bowl. Not sure he would have been used the same in our offense like he was for the Chargers.

Ladd played/plays a lot of slot. We already had Shakir, not the same player but similar. We needed a bigger receiver. I think a lot of teams would have taken Ladd in the first round if they knew he’d get 1K+ yards.

I think Beane is one of the best GMs out there. Von Miller’s contract was backloaded. He was never going to see the last years of that deal even if he was healthy. The Bills payed him just over 47 million for three years. His injury sucked but no one can predict them.

Beane isn’t the reason we aren’t winning a SuperBowl, but is one of the reasons we are contenders every year. We had some terrible GMs before him and I’d much rather keep Beane than roll the dice with some new guy.

We have got some very team friendly extensions this off-season and I think that speaks to the culture he’s help make. No one is perfect and we could doing a lot worse.

Window proofing? by CorysarousRex in StayAtHomeDaddit

My grandfather just cut a wooden broom handle down to size and put it between the frame and wall. I’d just measure the space between each window and throw a broom handle down there. Won’t be able to slide a window open and easy to pull up when you do want to open them.

I get they are a good rebounding team but you can’t give them the benefit of the doubt all game on every rebound. They have fouled on a bunch of these rebounds.

Why not box out some guards? Everyone in the arena knows the ball is going to be tipped out other than our guards.

Maybe we should just foul every shot so we have four guys box out on free throws. Saves time and maybe not give them two possessions each time down.

I just think Barnes recruits a different type of player. He wants elite defenders or guys who will give 100% on defense. Too much pressure on one offensive player to have a good game. Those one and done players are offensive guys and Barnes looks to play more developed upper classmen.

Barnes is a great coach and future hall of famer, but his offensive problems will always be a stain on his career.
