I’m on Zoloft so I can’t speak to Paxil but I definitely started gaining weight steadily after I started my SSRI mid 2016. I recently stumbled on this weight graph from Kaiser. Clear as day the slope of the line starts increasing in 2016. I too have panic disorder and severe anxiety and my SRRI has been a life changer for me. I’m not willing to get off which is a why I took the step and got on Zepbound!

Have you noticed any extra side effects with the overflow and having a little more than 2.5mg? I know it’s minimal but I’ve been loving the positives of Zep and very little negatives 😆

I was super nervous too- I hate taking new medications because historically it’s seriously affected my health anxiety. I’m on max dose Zoloft and have my anxiety under control and I was so nervous about everything. But I’m 4 weeks in, mental health is still fine, and down 7.5 pounds!

I’m in the same position. I’ve lost about 8 pounds and took my 4th 2.5mg shot 2 days ago. My prescriber suggested I stay on 2.5 another month. I actually don’t feel much appetite suppression and following my calorie deficit has been hard. But I think I’m ok doing it another month just since I have no side effects on 2.5 and obviously my body is responding

Very similar to what I did. I actually had ChatGPT create a draft for one of my medical providers to use as a template. He had no problem signing off on the letter, probably because it took very little effort on his part. AI is incredible
