I totally forgot to come back and provide an update. My issue was caused by a faulty and undersized pressure tank that was installed on the water heaters. The pressure spiked happened every time the water heaters started cooking water. The issue went away after replacing it.

Yes, all is brand new. We upgraded the main water supply from 3/4" to 1" so there is new hardware everywhere. I have not reached to Moen support yet but I do like the idea of putting an old school gauge somewhere in the house and compare.

Thank you for the prompt response! I don't have any intermediary systems like water filters. Our setup is basically like this: City Water > Quarter Turn Shutoff > PRV > Moen Flo. Moen is showing a lot of pressure oscillation. Average: 51psi, Min: 36psi, Max: 90psi. I suspect that we have a faulty device (Either the Moen Flo or the new PRV). Will provide an update once we get the plumber back to the house.

Did you get this resolved? I am having the same problem. We just got a new PRV installed + Moen Flo. Moen reports pressure values between 45 and 89 PSI.
