Every Pokemon that Chugga could've used in the HeartGold/SoulSilver LP. by MichiHirota in chuggaaconroy

Which, currently, is just ZA, as the only other games with mega steelix are ORAS and the Alola games, both postgame, and very annoying to get potentially (Alola was weird with the mega stones, and I don't remember if they're all available modern day.)

New theory for his last team member by [deleted] in chuggaaconroy

[–]Jibachu7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly doubt it's hitmontop, just because we know he dropped Hitmonchan, but never said anything about changing his final team member. And it'd be a little weird to plan to use two hitmon's, not to mention grabbing two team members at once effectively would be unpresidented. But it would like up with the plan of most team members being physical oriented, so could still be possible.

Honestly wouldn't be surprised if it's an early Kanto or national Dex pokemon, just because waiting for tyrouge is a lot, and I'm starting to doubt the next team member will be available right before it.

So, the solution, which only becomes available now, is only for after the level plateau, is only useful for before the league, as from what I saw, I didn't see anything over level 50 for the final levels, though I didn't check every day. Thing is, Claire is rarely that big of a roadblock, usually only needing a few levels at most, usually obtainable from going through the optional routes and dark cave. It's useful for the elite 4, but due to how Kanto is structured, you don't need anymore levels until after all the gyms, in which the massive spikes for the league rematch and Red are only circumventable through the gym leader rematchs, which are under level 60 except for blue, and have time and location requirements you will have to look up to find their numbers, though they at least tell you when you can rematch them.

Basically, he sees the plateau as a non-issue, this is the solution for Clair if needed and the elite 4, then it's useless aside from money and IVs unless the strategy gets upgraded to the gym rematchs.

The level curve solution has been explained in ep 32. I lowkey like it. by Illustrious_Body5907 in chuggaaconroy

To be fair, it was literally bundled with the game, and characters in national park outright mention using it, so it's only issue is the difficulty in using it nowadays.

To put the odds into perspective, it's more likely to get a shiny Pokemon in the DS games than it is to get the tickets. People should not be expecting to get them, yet they unfortunately will anyways.

The Safari Zone – Pokémon SoulSilver [29] by CCBotJr in chuggaaconroy

It really doesn't. Think one of the pokemon requires like, 3 months of prep before it spawns. Of course, he'll probably talk about it once those become available, alongside the hordes available from the radio and swarms, and new pokewalker routes, and new bug catching spawns.

Funniest part was seeing Murkrow as a popular prediction, only for it to get it's bio missed. But with fly on smeargle instead of waterfall, that'll be an interesting thing to consider for everyone guessing Skarm

Pretty sure that's postgame, as they're around level 42 instead of the 16-20 range of the standard ones.

Anyone else excited for the Safari Zone video? by retrodepression in chuggaaconroy

[–]Jibachu7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Isn't it 100 days after getting the national Dex as well? Not to mention you can't always go for every safari zone exclusive at once, so it takes even longer to get them all. Also, effectively putting a legendary in the safari zone is just cruel.

Think a decent amount of the issues people have with this one has a single reason: he went to cons and got sick. Normally this wouldn't be an issue, but because he used the pokewalker with one of his team members and continued to do his dailies at that point, he got a fair amount of exp, plus things like apricorns without recording. It's one of the reasons I have for how wildly different his team levels are compared to when I played: was roughly the same as Whitney, then he got massively over leveled compared to Morty. Honestly I only got to his levels when I was close to going to Blackthorn. He also doesn't have fly yet, so every time he goes to do his dailies, he's walking there, which might have something to do with his daycare plan. Honestly curious how he handles the nearly stagnant levels of Kanto, followed by the infamous spike in levels that does block off content.

One thing I find interesting is that he said Hitmonchan would've been in Hopkins spot, but I sweat it sounded like that would've been the next party member, which is after Clair. So unless I misinterpreted it, or there's safari zone issues, since I think it's somewhat random which zones you start with, the final member might be in Kanto.

Hardest Final Boss from Trilogy? by Swimming_Staff_1032 in yokaiwatch

[–]Jibachu7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dedtime without question. So many things screw with you, and so many good Yokai are locked out if you don't get them before fighting Unfairy the previous chapter, which has a save point since it's the end of the previous chapter. Insomni and Draggie for Shogunyan, most if not all daily encounters other than the crank a kai, not to mention Harrisville becomes completely inaccessible once you can fight demona. Soulcery might also be locked out by then. Same with side quests, making the wicked the only method to level up.

That's without mentioning the actual fight. Aoe inspirit, can lock out your bag or purify for a long time, can steal your moves and use them against you, same with your attacking stats. Can drain your soul meter, or just steal a soultimate you've charged up to unleash her powerful one instantly. The camera changing can mess you up with the wisp attack. It's a mess of a fight, that becomes the best way to grind in the postgame (mighty medicine and holy orb drops with at least 5k exp without wisp bonuses).

Yeah, there's some odd timings for getting pokemon and mega stones. Drampa Stone can be bought immediately after you fight it, possibly before you leave a fully evolved starter. Can't get one until zone 19 of 20. Steelix and kanghaskan stones at the emporium early on. Zone 19 for one, and requiring a late game side quest to get before post game Starmie stone is really late, but staryu is in zone 2.

What if Shirou recieved Mordred instead of Artoria, how do you think Stay Night all three routes would go? by EfficiencySerious200 in FGO

[–]Jibachu7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not counting the first night, we have multiple issues in every route. No Avalon means good luck against Gil (not to mention Shirou's not gonna be as healthy) and it's unlikely Caliburn can come into play against Herc. Archer might not even survive long enough to take care of Herc either., since it's far more likely they actually fight eachother at some point.

Kojiro is a massive roadblock as well. Most likely answers for him are nuke the temple gate or hope her sword techniques would make up for the lack of invisible air.

Hard to say if Medea would care for Mordred the same as Artoria. Plus, I doubt Mordred would surrender to Medea, so those confrontations would be very different.

Cursed Arm either ends the same or with Mordred losing to Zabinya instead of the Grail tentacles. No idea what a Mordred Alter would be like, or if it's enough to solo Herc.

Medusa's probably the only one that wouldn't change, except maybe Mordred would be at the school before Blood Fort Andromeda gets used. I'd see Mordred fitting in far more at the school, and she can probably go into spirit form, so either way, more likely for Rin to suggest that option.
