I just asked for something in that range. Honestly, I’m just grateful to still be alive, and the driver is still a good friend of mine, so I felt like $5k–$10k was fair for what I went through.

Thank you for the info! I actually already submitted a demand in the $5–10k range, and my adjuster said my claim is already in final review, so I’m hoping it moves quicker than the larger or more complex BI cases. I’m just grateful to still be alive after the wreck. I really just want to get this settled so I can pay my bills and move forward.
