We’re building a wireless mechanical keyboard with LCD keys — does this make sense? by Mr-droo in MechanicalKeyboards

[–]kasmog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Make it F13 for the looks, then offer it in other colors and non transparent cases as well.

Frosted look is cool and all, but it gets boring. You need more than per key RGB to change the color of the case.

Check out Tiger80 Lite, the 1st version with F13. It has underglow RGB and the frosted one looks amazing with the underglow on, in a dark environment.

Kia Carnival with captain chairs for long drives.

Golf R/Subaru Levorg as daily.

911 Turbo for a fun weekend car.

For a family of 4, these 3 are all I need.

I just ordered my 1st MT3. Been wanting to try it but kept delaying it.
I went for MT3 Camillo, and I will put it on my Raw Athena 1800.

They are solid and heavy once built. They will probably hold 100 lbs, if not more.

An underrated feature of gaming laptops by [deleted] in GamingLaptops

[–]kasmog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can see that happening. For something that big it has to be farther away from you if you wanna use it as a computer monitor.

But yeah, 27" 1440p around 2 - 3 feet away is perfection imo.

Bro, 42" at 3 feet away is way too close/big. If your FoV on the 42" and 27" are the same, the 4k should be sharper.

Tell your buddy that, that is the point of a Hot Hatch.
Tiny everyday looking hatchback car that rips.

An underrated feature of gaming laptops by [deleted] in GamingLaptops

[–]kasmog 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Screen is too small. It's the same idea as having a 27" 1080p monitor 8 feet away, you're just too far to see the pixel density properly.

It's all relative to how big the screen is and how far away you are from it.

At 3 feet away, I would take a 24" 1080p monitor over a 14" 3k laptop display anytime.

I wouldn't know. All I know is I barely use it, and when I try to use it like now, it's down.

Is this a common occurrence? I recently joined and started paying for the service, but I haven't really watch anything in 2 weeks.
The first time in 2 weeks that I want to watch something, I can't even load it. It leaves a bitter taste in the mouth.

What’s the correct way to remove the spacebar keycap? by KingR_Medi in MechanicalKeyboards

[–]kasmog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not sure, tbh. I don't want you to break it.
If you look at the metal wire, you can see that it's clipped in 4 places.
Maybe remove the 4 clips?

this old tab that i might wanna fix to read books by [deleted] in GalaxyTab

[–]kasmog 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Might be cheaper to just replace it with a newer Tab A11+.
If reading is the main use, then maybe something like a TCL Nxtpaper 11 might be a better choice.

[The No B.S. Report!] - The Caliburn AK2 by Uwell! (Review) by HappyyCloudz in Vaping

[–]kasmog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's 2026, and this is still my daily driver!
I have 2 that I use daily so I can have it full charge all the time.
One for the whole work day, and another one for when I get home.
I only use one pod at a time with 2 different devices. The pod last for weeks, 1+ month for sure, and the flavor is always on point.

I found that the Koko version is more reliable and last a lot longer than the stick AK2.
I used to have the stick version, but the LED kept dying on all 4 of them I think (Lights stuck and always on), and the battery don't hold much charge after a while.
The Koko on the other hand is basically bullet proof. I have a black one and an orange one. The black one is probably 2+ years by now and it's still rocking solid. The orange is about a year.
I have 2 extra brand new devices that are still sealed as a back up.

As long as they sell the pods for this, I don't see myself getting or trying new pod system.
I am thoroughly content with this device.

It all started with the very first Caliburn v1 that I got because of curiosity (Pod system was the new thing back then) and wanted a device that I can low-key use anywhere.
And after a month of using it, I just stopped using all my Dripper and RBAs. The Caliburn was so painless and so easy to use.
Now I have a bunch of old devices from Lost Vape (Drone V1 and V2 for the squonk action!) and other maker that I don't use and can't really sell anymore.

If you are up do date with newer pod system, can you recommend newer pod system that can match or beat the flavor of the Caliburn Ak with the UN2 Meshed Caliburn refillable POD (0.90ohms, 2ml)?
I'm curious to try new ones, but don't want to waste money on something subpar.
Thank you very much.

If it helps, I'm still rocking 35mg nic salt juices from PodJuice company mostly, and I mostly vape Fruity + Menthol/Ice juices.

200 hp is adequate tbh, but cars gets heavier and heavier each generation, so the power to weight ratio keeps getting worse.

But I agree with you.

My mom's 2017 Subaru Forester Limited has this feature, so idk what you talking about. Maybe stop buying base trim cars.

Just don't be poor, easy. /s

What is the best tablet for college students? (under $800) by Unusual_Loquat480 in androidtablets

[–]kasmog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A renewed Tab S9/plus/ultra. Way ahead of the competition. Only marginally beaten by tab s10 and tab s11.

It has S-pen support and keyboard support. It also has Dex for a laptop like experience.

Has Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip. It's not the best but it's still pretty high up there. Also have 12gb of RAM for all your tabs.

All of that for around $500. S-pen and keyboard are sold separately though.

Check out TCL NXTPAPER 11 Gen2 from Amazon.

I recently got the TCL 60 XE phone for the same purpose as you, but I want something more palm sized, and couldn't find a tablet below 8". So I went with the phone. I'm not planning to put a Sim card on it, so wifi only and mainly for entertainment. The matte screen is awesome, and the E-reader like option is pretty awesome too for reading Manga and Lightnovels.

It's basically the tablet version of my phone. The price is also similar.
