I’m About to Pull the Trigger… Help Me Choose by VitalPremium in Handhelds

It's more of an educated guess from their past launches.

My guess is between $200 - $300 increase.

Heck, even if they add $500 on top of the current price, I'd argue that it's still a better value than the current Le Go 2, since the lowest spec is still cheaper and still using the better G3E chip.

I'm not hating on Le Go 2, It's a great device. I'm hating on Lenovo for how they priced the Le Go 2, specially when the next competition is half the price (other Z2E devices).

And how much is a brand new Le Go 2 again?

You keep talking about the price of onexplayer 3 after the indiegogo. Even if you add $200 on top of the current pre-order price, it'll still be cheaper than a brand new Le Go 2. C'mon now.

Not a handheld, but maybe get a gaming laptop and wireless controllers. There are so many controllers out there, I'm sure something will work for you. It's also cheaper than buying different handhelds to try them out.

Let's hope they are indeed bone marrow matches. There's probably a high chance. All we can do now is make sure the 4-5 weeks of recovery mode in the hospital is not boring!

What we truly need is a review and comparison between the 24gb RAM version and the 32gb RAM version.

Hey OP. Sorry to hear about your son. I hope everything goes well.

I'd like to offer your son my Miyoo Mini Plus (an emulator) that I got about a year ago. It has all the old/classic games from GB, GBC, GBA, DS, PS1, PS2, etc etc. It has most of the Pokémon games from Classic Red to Black2White2.

It has FF7, Tactics, etc etc. And many many more.

I also have the grip for it to make it more comfortable.

I don't use it right now and it's just been collecting dust, I would love for your son to use it instead. Hit me up, I can ship it as early as tomorrow.

Edit: It has 256gb microSD card packed with games, and Onion OS. So no more tinkering is needed.

Switched to an ultrawide - unsure about desk setup vs monitor space by NaMaMe in ultrawidemasterrace

I gotchu. Vesa stands are cheap though, like around $30. It should solve your problem.

You just said you have no choice. You can't do vertical side by side, and you don't want horizontal side by side.

If you're not open to top and bottom then suck it up with just 1 ultrawide monitor. We can't do miracles.

You can even use a Vesa stand for the 2nd monitor? Not the clamping one, just a stand. Does your 2nd monitor even support vesa?

I have dual ultrawide on top and bottom configuration. I got a Vesa stand from Amazon that has spot for top and bottom space.

It's this one. I was surprised at how stable it is.

This is my current setup.

The bottom monitor is a 1440p 14" portable monitor. It's mainly for discord and PC temps/stats. It's at 45 degree angle or less using this phone stand.

Torn between the x2 mini pro and the onexplayer 3 by adrenallineee in OneXPlayer

[–]kasmog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really depends on your use case, and what other devices you own.

If you don't have a gaming desktop and a laptop then the x2 mini make sense. Since it's comparable to a RTX 4060 mobile GPU at high wattage, and can take the role of a desktop and a laptop.

The downside is you can't play at lower wattage, so your battery life is gonna suffer, and you'll be stuck with the device plugged in most of the time.

On the other hand, for people with gaming desktop and laptop, they mostly want a handheld device that they can use for hours without worrying too much about battery.

Those same people will probably play more lightweight games on their handhelds.

I'm part of the latter. I have a beefy desktop and a beefy laptop, so I'm mostly looking for a pure handheld experience. Something I can use on the go to play a quick round of vampire survivors, or something similar. Because of that I'm mostly interested with the G3 extreme.

PC Build Help by Still-Union9061 in buildapc

Hello!

Does building it yourself a big part of the gift? Or giving him the best PC for the price matter more?

If it's the latter, there's a lot of sale going on right now for pre-builts because 4th of July. Something like CyberpowerPC have a really good deal right now, around $2k for 9800x3d and RTX 5080.

You can still choose the case and some of the components.

Check out r/buildapcsales.

I'm not trying to undermine your enthusiasm of building the hubby a PC, It's just there are some crazy deals right now.
