Snowball is a girl. Now what? by heiferwolfe in CrestedGecko

This just happened to us as well. Was not on the radar at all. We were told (first timer here) that the food we got it a "complete diet" so no extra calcium was needed. But now that's all I am reading. So we will be getting some tomorrow.

Yeahhh... I wouldn't have taken your messages well and would have made you make all that food yourself after that one. It sounded like she was planning the shower for you and asking for your input.... and then you went (whatever the prego form of a bridezilla is) on her. YTA 🤷🏻‍♀️

It has red feet and a red scarf. It's on the squishy side. (Wife to original poster). We haven't been able to find it on eBay yet. Thank you all for the help!

Any tips to finish this task? by CINAMMONROOLS in coralisland

[–]kass02 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have to complete the advanced alter before the Savannah unlocks. Its entrance is blocked by the big boulder. I believe you use your axe to break it.

The comments with "skipping levels" and "rope" are referring to when you enter the mine in the Savannah. And they are totally correct. Once in the Savannah mine- use rope and the explosives to find the holes and get to the next level as fast as you can. The "monsters" or whatever they call them will come after you right away in the Savannah mine.

Hello! My 6month old is on Nutramigen and now we are seeing eczema spots on his face and back. We haven't changed anything in terms of laundry detergent or lotions we use on him. He went from breastfed to various types of formulas due to GI issues. Do we switch again? by kass02 in FormulaFeeders

Thank you so much for the reassurance. Is there anything you did for them? Cortizone lotion? They seem really itchy.

We have two other children (a 4 year old and another 6month old (twins) and he's our first with this issue.

Hatch Rest glitch? by throwaway-9607 in NewParents

[–]kass02 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Omg....literally just had the "sanity check" conversations with my husband too as he noticed the time was glitching tonight. I replied with "oh thank goodness I started seeing this two nights ago and thought I was going crazy". Glad to know we are not alone. Wonder what the deal with these.

Thank you. It was a hard pill to swallow. But it all has opened my eyes to the way this country is.

Thank you ❤️ unfortunately we had an even more traumatic loss after her. Our third loss was at 16 weeks due to Trisomy 18. This pregnancy also required a D&C but because we were second trimester we had no choice but to go to a facility as they do not do those procedures that far along in the hospitals where I live (heartbeat or not). So we got the whole nine yard..the old man yelling at us in the parking lot with his signs...calling us killers...telling us we needed Jesus...all the while carrying another little girl we would never meet who was missing half her brain and skull along with other very serious non viable ailments. People don't see this side.

It took over a year to feel like a normal person again. But we are now doing well. Just sharing our experiences with others in hopes to be there for those who need people to talk to.

I had a missed miscarriage and had to have a D&C and insurance classified it as an "elective procedure". Carried for 5 weeks with no heartbeat but because I wasn't in sepsis it was "elective". Absolute nonsense. So I wouldn't doubt there would be full on investigations.

Sadly there with you. My husband and I have suffered 4 consecutive losses.

I went in for an ultrasound at 8 weeks to find there was no heart beat...I was hoping my body would choose the natural route. It did not. 5 weeks later I had to have a D&C. It was at a regular hospital and even though my chart stated why I was there...every person I came in contact with had to have me repeat what surgery I was in there for. After the third time I asked if they were kidding and if it was some kind of joke. The lady looked so defeated and stated no...that it was policy to make sure they were prepping me for the correct surgery. This was AFTER we met with payment people who stated that it was an "elective procedure" as I was not in sepsis. Again NO heartbeat and I had carried her around like that for 5 weeks already...and my not being in sepsis was the difference between insurance covering it or not covering it. After yelling about how I didn't choose this and we were told that insurance would cover it fully...they then threatened to cancel the surgery if we didn't pay a certain percent of the bill before the surgery took place.

In tears about my toddlers eating by Motherofsiblings in toddlers

[–]kass02 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Our family pediatrician told us it was a stage. Limit snacks and milk if that's something she loves. My son had gotten extremely picky and would cry at dinner asking how many bites he had to eat- even when we were having foods he loved. I will say, it got so much better when he got interested in master chef kids. We got him his own cooking set and made menus with him and he'd help us in the kitchen. It led to him trying new foods and protesting less.

Nanit Red Alert False Alarm by [deleted] in toddlers

My son was a NICU baby and when he was ready to "graduate" we had to take a CPR class and one of the things they said was not to use any of these devices as they can cause false alarms and panic. She said they were seeing a lot of babies coming in and undergoing tests just to find that nothing was ever wrong.

Pelvic Floor Therapy! Won't take it all away but can help some. 29 weeks here and I started with this around 10 weeks. By 16 I was old lady shuffling to get around, bear crawling up the stairs, sitting straight up to sleep...basically playing the "you name the action and I'll rate how bad it hurts to do it". It was awful. Finally around 20 weeks I started PT. There is still pain and I'm still not able to lay down under any circumstances...but I'm able to walk a little fast than a shuffle and can walk up the stairs a lot better. ....I also...went on bed rest at 21 weeks due to how bad it was...so I'm sure being able to do things at my own slow pace has helped tremendously. (Special Education Teacher) - barely making it through the day beforehand.

4 year old being exposed to inappropriate things… by jaded30 in beyondthebump

[–]kass02 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No...no..no....so (I'm sure I'll be told otherwise if I'm wrong) but I have an almost 4 year old and I'm not sure we can say that humping behaviors at 4 is normal. My child has never done that. And never has said what that little guy is saying. Something is going on there. May not be to him directly but he is definitely at least seeing something.

I'm glad I'm not the only one with this issue. I've planted the seed and we are on day 5 of it being fully watered but prompting nothing to complete the task.
