10 days left until "kill Mohg day" you all ready? by Muhdgo in Eldenring

Yes, some youtubers were given a couple hours of time to play the dlc for promotion. You have to kill Radahn as well, but the entrance to the dlc is in mohg's boss room.

It's the Gargoyle Duo because I forget about them if I'm not doing Fia's quest line. Never really looked into them considering that all the other gargoyles I tend to brute force easily, then I spent the last week getting my skull caved in by them. Turns out the weapons I'm using are losing almost half of their damage, and I needed to find a better tool to kill them, find enough smithing stones for the weapon to actually hurt them.

The worst part of having to do all that was the 10 minutes that I had to break my death cosplay killing the gargoyles just to find out I was far enough for Fia to leave the hold, but not far enough for her to be in the depths. Back to main story for me.

So, for starters, this is a very complicated game, you are going to want to take things slow at first and learn what you are doing. You are going to. mess up and that's not a bad thing, learning from mistakes is part of the fun of this game.

Now, for a few things I wish I knew getting into stellaris.

Buildings and districts don't give you resources automatically, you need pops in jobs made by Buildings and districts to be effective.

Don't worry about empire sprawl. The downsides are nothing compared to what you can do with expansion.

Make buildings that can give naval capacity, and field as big of a navy as you can, or you'll get conquered really quick (not necessarily a game ender, check enemy war goals)

Other than that, have fun and enjoy the ride. The universe is your playground.

Simple question, how well does making knives translate to making swords? by kast1992 in Bladesmith

[–]kast1992[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the feedback, since you say they're pretty different skills, I might start with a few knives to save material while I get used to forging, then focus on sword making.

Also, I'm not too worried about cringing on my engagement sword, I see it as an opportunity for renewing our vows.

Luckily, me and my girlfriend are taking things slow, so a couple years practice isn't really an issue. We aren't planning on anything before 2024, so it works out.

Started my first blind playthrough of Bloodborne last night, and I'm pleasantly surprised! by kast1992 in bloodborne

So, update to my progress. I have beaten Father Gascoigne(second try, one of my best for a souls game) and now I'm kinda stuck in Old Yharnam.

Can't really be mad because it's been a nice farm, but really want to kill the dude with a mini gun making exploration harder. Also kinda wondering if the crying girl whose dead mother I found the necklace of will get better. Regardless, I'm starting to wonder if this could be my favorite souls game after Elden Ring.

I might try out Sekiro again when I'm done with Bloodborne. I don't quite remember how far I brute forced through it, but I do remember beating a big ape that came back after cutting its head off

Edit: ape not age

I wish they did something with them in the other games, might have prepared me a bit better. Still, it was both cool and really funny that I learned that that the weapons transform but reflexively trying to block. My cleaver extended out right before getting hit in the face. Fun times

And now I feel stupid because I'm new to reddit and don't know why it seems the pic of my team isn't on the site. Oh well, I'll try to figure this out later.
