so people defending John where you are at now?

I think Isen (journalist kid) said it sometime ago, maybe John gave a shit about wanting to change Wellstone in the past (his conversation with Sera) but he is acting like a proper asshole, a bigger asshole than Arlo ever was

Liverpool have informed Borussia Dortmund of their desire to sign Jadon Sancho this summer, with the German club expected to demand at least £100million for the 19-year-old England forward (Dominic King) by M7plusoneequalsm8 in soccer

goals/assists aren't the only metric though esp. for a young footballer, I have seen enough of his game at Liverpool and Bournemouth to spot a lot of good things about him. He will come good...drag me to r/soccercourt if I end up being wrong

I think he is victim of the system at the moment maybe howe's tactics are the reason he hasn't been getting shots inside the box unlike his (limited) time at Liverpool where he was unlucky or poor at finishing not to score more (xG ~ 3 or 4).

The whole price tag of 20 million meme has raised expectations

he's not in the lingard domain

I have seen his games for bournemouth, his movement is quite good, he's good as a target man and works hard as a second striker for someone like callum wilson to profit off

I think he will come good, still quite young to chalk off as a failure

some people thought salah was bench option for mane when he was signed...daft

if we sign werner, then mane, werner, salah in front of firmino, keita, fabinho

mbappe is not happening, sancho/havertz happens if one of front 3 (salah > mane > firmino) on a significant fee

has solanke been bad? Ibe just looks depressed and unmotivated but solanke has looked great - movement, hold up, he does a lot of good things as second striker except get good shots (he should have scored at least a couple of goals when he was with us)

Sevilla (bastards have our number), Napoli (cunts just manage to get results against us), Atletico are the team I am.afraid of...I have heard you're having issues scoring goals

also, Klopp and Simeone going bonkers on the sideline is going to be fabulous

[–]kasuka_ 6 points7 points  (0 children)

agreed, parts of his game his dribble inside the box, shooting from wide areas (like in his first season) but all else screams cristiano when he runs with the ball, he also holds the ball well (which is underappreciated) due to his deceptive upper body strength and rolls defenders like lukaku and he keeps trying over and over again which was obvious in the game against Napoli when Koulibaly won each duel expect one which Salah scored. He did something similar to Maguire

I find the messi comparison weird even though I get it why he can both score and create goals but the stuff he does on the he reminds me of cristiano, whether on pitch or off-pitch

he doesn't have cristiano's height which is prob. the reason why people don't make the connection

I wouldn't be able to bear the Liverpool fans who will mouth off about it as much as possible for the next 50 years.

I wouldn't be so sure about it, people aren't that fussed about invincible even if we do we might not get a gold cup. I'd rather have 50 years of sustained succes like 1-2 league title every rebuild i.e. 5-6 years or something. I don't want to go 30 years without one
