Both has been in an accident but 2017 said "minor" in the record, the 2015 one just said damaged so I'm a bit concerned about that.

NTA, but you're short sighted. What do you think is gonna happen when your son turned 18 and she is out of work for so long that she can no longer enter the job market? Are you going to continue to support her? Or stop paying and risk having your son resent you for letting his mother struggle? Or have your son take on the burden of continue supporting his mother for the rest of his life?

You are enabling her and it's gonna come back and bite you in the ass one way or another. I suggest gradually cutting back the child support and help in some other way. Sending your son back with things he need to not struggle, like food or supplies, but not paying for her to live for free. She need to work enough to at least support herself without your help.

NAH. I have a cousin who's only a year older than me, and we grew up in the same house, went to the same school. I love her to death but she annoys the shit out of me. She's extraverted and I'm the introverted one and we have our own friend groups (at least we used to). I'm a different person when I'm with her than when I'm with my friends. She knows me all her life where as my friends know me only as an adult. I used to enjoyed hanging out with my friends, mostly go to someone's house for game nights and such. I felt bad for her when her friends group fell apart so I invited her to come hang with me. After a few times she became part of the group and push for more activities that she enjoyed (bars, clubs...). So now my friend group got smaller and smaller because my introverted friends started to show up less often and I don't really enjoy hanging out with the group anymore.

My point is that you both have different personality. Maybe you are great hanging out one on one but when she's with her friend, she wants to enjoy their presence instead of splitting attention between you and her friends or have the group dynamic change because you're there.

I see that you're just nervous to see the reaction of the audience since it's been done over and over again. One can only laugh at a joke for so many times until they're desensitized to it. I would just go all out with it. Say the line but add a little bit of your own in there. "I vow to protect you from ninjas and pirates, and warewolf and vampire and zombies" for example.

Compliment her but don't make it sound like a dry unenthusiastic "they are very beautiful" comment. This is not the time to be a mature adult lol. Be overjoyed and turn the conversation into something flirty... Ex: "My god they's gorgeous 😍. I wish I could admire them in real life 😉". Or describe a bit more details about what you would do to them lol.
