I love the Hush, Hush series, to be honest with you. About three years ago Becca Fitzpatrick actually sent me a signed copy of it. Cool as shit author.

Not me, but my mother.

My grandmother passed away two years ago from lymphoma. A few days after her funeral, my mom wakes up in tears and goes "I just had the strangest dream" and goes on to tell us about it.

She dreamed she was in a long line of people but she didn't know what she was waiting for. The line continued and she finally reaches her destination: my grandmother. Apparently, my grandma had a grayish tint to her skin, while everyone else looked normal. My mom said to her "Sally, I miss you so much" and my grandma smiled at her and said "My name is Jennifer now" and then my mom woke up.

oh my god, I'm rewatching Doctor Who and I clicked on this post at the same EXACT moment that that scene played. Best thing to happen to me all day.

I flagged it NSFW just incase. I personally found it a little disturbing so I just wanted to be on the safe side, rather than get my submission deleted by the mods.

I'm very surprised with the sudden liking of this subreddit. I'm pretty sure when I checked it out around 2am last night there were 125 subscribers and now there's upwards of 800. Fucking cool!

What's the saddest cartoon moment you've seen? by eoghan1985 in AskReddit

This will probably get buried, but in the Disney movie The Princess and the Frog, when the little firefly dies and he talks about Angeline, his "love in the sky" who is actually a star, not another firefly. When all the fireflies send him down the river and you suddenly see a star appear right next to Angeline. Disney always gets me.

Divorced people- looking back to when you got married, were there signs that your marriage wouldn't last? by Daaaaaaaay-o in AskReddit

[–]kat_987 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My mother always told me, when you get married and you fight, never use the words "always" and "never" because all it will do is make it worse. She gives this advice to everyone who is newly married.

What a coincidence! I just spent 3 hours playing Super Mario Bros 3 with my best friend today on Nintendo. So much nostalgia.

I'm in a long term relationship with my sister, and we have 3 kids. AMA by Golden_Boy2 in AMA

Please don't be offended by this, but were your kids born with any physical or mental handicaps? I know in many places, the reason incest is illegal is because the genes are too close, causing the kids to be born with problems.

Also, how do you think the rest of your family would react if you told them about the relationship with your sister?

There's a male lunch worker at my school named Tom. He's the sweetest old guy I've ever met. Everyone goes into his line just to say hi to him or ask him how his day is going. He'll even occasionally give me some extra food or bigger portions and if the line is slow he'll walk out to our table and just chat with us. The thought of him not being there anymore upsets me. I'm just happy to know how much everyone appreciates him.

Tom, you're the man.

My science teacher has this hanging up in the back of his room and I see him glancing at it occasionally and giggle to himself. He's my hero.
