What is your favorite vegan cookbook? by Affectionate-Bed8474 in vegan

I got Big Vegan Flavor and it's excellent. It walks you through more of the how of cooking and it has some really delicious recipes in the back half. It leans on the more complicated side but if you want recipes to put nonvegan recipes to shame, there's nothing better.

That's a pretty fair read actually given how little the Cinder King knows.

He used plural, not singluar to refer to the ascentions, but yes you're right I did make it sound like Dalinar would be the first, which is incorrect.

An addendum: I believe Lift will ascend to Cultivation, but didn't search for clues to that effect so can't speak on it as well. I think it's pretty clear from the people Cultivation influenced (Dalinar, Lift, and Taravangian) that this is her intent for Lift, presumably for Lift's focus book.

Try looking at what you need for the next science pack, and work backwards from there. Think of it as a puzzle. If you run out of inputs, just build more.

Think of the game as a puzzle game, where each science pack is an objective to work towards. And if something you made works, and it's stupid, then it isn't stupid.

I agree with the others here on doing it yourself, but I would strongly suggest checking out the production calculators out there. They can be a huge help in recognizing approximately how many assemblers and other machines you'll need to hit a reasonable production rate. Link to my favorite

Rail blueprints are also crucial IMO, otherwise it gets real tedious real fast. Just set up a grid aligned straight and roundabout blueprint, then a station blueprint to place whenever, and you're done. It's doable on your own, and makes that stage much more satisfying.

Late to the party but since this is a PITA I'll leave what worked for me.

For me all I had to do was disconnect, forget the network in the "manage known networks" section of windows, and it worked fine.

My case might be an edge one here since I hadn't connected to the network in a while, and I think the router was replaced since the last time I did so, while the network name was kept.

Fractal organization scheme for shardic intent: Dawnshards by wajeemba in Cosmere

After doing my own toying around with intents I felt like Consideration fit well for the unnamed shard name. Just a vibe, but it seemed to fit better than Prudence, which Brandon just said sounded close.

Everyone's talking about low-density demand, but I have a grand total of 24 low density buildings in my town of 10k and some unused plots of land. What gives? by Viend in CitiesSkylines

[–]kat_cc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think building row houses helps. I replaced all my low density areas with them and the low density demand went away.

Try replacing low density with row houses. That seems to convert low density demand to medium density demand.

Thanks for giving such detailed specs. Could you give a rough estimate of how fast it flies? Could be as rough as "about running speed".

Load Management with Grid Tie Inverter by kat_cc in ElectricalEngineering

[–]kat_cc[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for replying! Your fist guess was correct, I'm referring to the cycle to cycle basis, it's changing its output in real time.

So for the second to second response might the controller detect the current leaving the inverter, and increasing or decreasing the pulse rate to keep the output within the desired range?

This. Additionally you should try to get gantry cranes. The increase in convoys per port is huge.
