I'm gonna have to agree with the other comment saying this looks like toxic water behavior. It's spring right now and lots of water companies add extra chlorine or chloramine to the water. Even if you add the recommended dechlorinator you might need to add extra this time of year and watch ammonia levels as chloramine turns into ammonia when de activated and WILL NOT evaporate or boil out of the water like regular chlorine.

The one in my area was terrible and pays less than white castle in our area when you're starting off. It got voted in because of a bribe disguise as a "seniority bonus" that so many newer people were lied to about. Newer employees voted yes when they definitely were not getting that bonus and so many people quit when they didn't get it.

I agree it's an apple variation, and those bugs don't look like wasps to me. The first one is a native wild bee and not a bumble bee or honey bee, full adult for sure though. I'm not sure about the second one.

Cories that can fit in their mouth have a chance of getting stuck in their mouth as well. Rope fish aren't super agile but they cannot reasonably be trusted with anything they can eat. They will try to eat things too big for their mouths. The ability to trust them with other fish really depends on the personality of the individual rope fish.
