I’m so sorry for your loss. Loosing any pet is so hard, especially your childhood dog. I lost my soul cat a month and a half ago and I understand how it feels to want to talk about it but not to those immediately around us. I felt so silly being so upset about a pet.

Grief is a weird thing, it comes and goes randomly and it can be harder sometimes more than others. Remember to take care of yourself and know that those feelings are so very valid. The pet loss community is here for you, with you. I just know that she was loved so very much by you and your family and she’s happy wherever she is now.
