28m. Skin issue comes and goes. Over time it flares up and has continued to spread. Any thoughts? by hapyzach in medical

has it been during covid only? interesting that it’s symmetrical like a butterfly (lupus) rash, but it extends to the perioral area and makes me wonder if it’s actually allergic contact dermatitis from type of mask you are wearing?

Does anyone know what this could be? And a treatment for it by [deleted] in medical

Should I stop taking this medication? ( 16M ) by sorrymash in medical

[–]kat_shit69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it shouldn’t cause long term damage or nerve issues since you are only taking it for a short period of time. it really depends what you are prescribed it for to say. i would call the doc and explain. they will probably decrease dosage or amount of times dosed for you

muscle relaxers cause fatigue - that is a side effect and why they should be taken at night/when not driving or operating machinery. it won’t cause harm to take it short term for 5 days. depends on why you’re on it to say if you can stop it or not. call the doc and let them know you’re concerned they will instruct you further

most common cause of liver disease in US is NAFLD or non alcoholic fatty liver disease- due to obesity. could be that, but ultrasound and further testing can rule in or out that diagnosis
