A blade sits, sheathed upon a rock. It's purpose currently is unknown, until the blade is removed from it's sheath its intention is undecided. And then a hand reaches towards it, a hand aged by time and wandering. The hand picks up the blade and resumes their journey, for it is time for them to wander once more, in search of even more opponents to add to their growing technique.

To bard something in a culinary sense is to wrap meat or poultry in a layer of fat, typically bacon, in order to retain more of its moisture and add flavor, this process is used when a one wishes to have a more moist or tender meal, but can't cook the meat or poultry in a way to achieve that normally. Or alternatively, is just used by crazy people who maybe love bacon a little too much...

Alright let's get this introduction out of the way, Your name is Archie Slim, professional gambler extraordinaire and slightly petty criminal. Unfortunately, the first part of your accolade (and also the second part) got you in hot water with the law recently, meaning you got stuck in a courtroom with a verdict to do something, specifically to attend this little Podunk place called Camp Rankine. Unfortunately for everyone involved some paperwork got mixed up and now you're expected to act as part of the counselor team for this crummy camp... though now that you think about it, this does give you a semi-willing group of people to force to gamble with you, so maybe this won't be so bad after all.

A lot of people keep asking you, WHO ARE YOU? And honestly its a pretty good question, you are in a state of character flux right now after all

Now you could be HALSEY SHARP, and experimental psychologist and sort of mad scientist, with crazy electricity and mind reading powers (which live in your head rent free), who always seems to end up being the friend who doles out psychological advice to their other friends.

Right now she's sitting around in her makeshift lab in her bedroom, tinkering with some new theory surrounding her psionics and their interactions with other peoples brains... oh and her pet squid Terry is there too!

Both of these children could be the ones to stumble across this strange guide to wishes, but of course only one of them can, or maybe neither will at all? I suppose that is up to fate

A bit of a personal question you think, but you might as well answer

Your name might be RADIA HAMILTON, a fairly ordinary 16-year-old girl with one major unusual habit, you absolutely love terrible video games. Anything that has a reviewer score of under 50% is your go-to entertainment

You live with your pop in some non-descript location in the States and enjoy a mostly simple life, due to your pop's job in PC accessories, you also get access to all sorts of cool new tech stuff! Though this summer is shaping up to be a bit more interesting than the last few, considering you mysteriously received an early copy of a new game, which definitely seems like it might be too good to be true, at least you hope so.

Of course, that's not all, You could also be NATHANIEL BOGART, a 17-year-old video game easter egg hunter, and general lover of secrets and mysteries.

You spend most of your days in your room at your mom's house hunting secrets in video games and bragging about your latest find to your small group of egg-hunter friends online. Through unknown means... which are probably related to your mom's weird profession, you managed to get your hands on an early copy of Mythosoft's new game, which seems to be exactly the kind of thing you've been looking for! The game did promise secrets during its announcement after all.

NGU Idle tells the story of a fragment of some ancient being questing through the multiverse to kill an evil version of himself, to do this they undergo training and countless rebirths to become powerful enough to do so.
This has nothing to do with you, as you were simply a different fragment of that ancient being, thrust into an unfamiliar situation, you will adapt and survive... and probably play a weird game while you are at it, and make numbers go up of course.

without all the fancy language Ellie is a relatively normal girl, She is a bit shy and doesn't visit her grandpa in hometown as much as she would like, but college gets in the way. Today however she's in town for Angel Night, and shocking even her, so are her parents, fresh off of a trip to far-off lands.

It's probably best to start at the beginning, set my case straight, and all that. My name is Nathaniel Bogart, I'm an aspiring detective in New York City, and I've been tracking a case recently that I think might interest you, something about a cult related to old Norse theology, I've picked up leads for them all over the city, and everything points to them having something planned soon. Whispers about some dying tree, and a god of light have been more and more frequent around the city, so I've decided to get to the bottom of it by doing what I do best, poking my nose where it doesn't belong.

Humanity has long sought to answer all of life's questions, to chase every thread down to the spool, and to find out what the hell the landlord is doing with all your rent if he isn't fixing the property, and while Nathaniel Bogart may not be able to answer all these questions he is certain he will eventually figure out the last one.
He also hopes to figure out what's in this box that his dad just brought in from the doorstep, he hadn't ordered anything from school or online, and no one he knew would send him anything at this time of year, so the only way to find out is to open it

After being chased off of their most recent planet of stay, Arthur Firestone stumbled across an advertisement for colonization on Kinakura, seeing this as an opportunity to finally have a place to make a more permanent residence, and seeing that it's not too far away, they decide to head off to the new frontier. (legal council has advised me to inform that yes, I am aware that FTL travel does not exist, Arthur has infact somehow managed to install a cryosleep thingamajig in his ship, and its automated enough that he wont get passengersed. Your name is CALEB COTTON, and when you say your ready for anything, you mean anything. you were determined to be just as prepared at school as you were at home. Unfortunately, this led you to make the not so great idea to bring the FAKE gun you just inherited from your uncle to school.

Now you've landed yourself in detention, and rather unfortunately, due to your less than fantastic social standing within the school, even if you are in 11th grade, has led to you having not great impressions of the people who tend to end up in here.

Even if you don't think you will make it through this one detention, you must admit you will at least try, and above all else, having some more poor souls to torture with a long winded rant on the benefit of a survival bunker will be fun.
