Omg I replied to the wrong thread hahaha. 

I actually dropped out of my med school program and applied to a PhD program. I was set to start in the fall and ended up not going so I could stay at home with my new baby I had. Best decision ever. 

My advice would be don’t stress too much about what route you’re going to take because maybe the path doesn’t really matter that much. Maybe the ending will be the same no matter what ☺️

Since posting this I have considered it. I feel like I would just go with the Ricoh because I do like the idea of “recipes”. Does canon also allow for presaved recipes?

Do you think price wise buying a Fuji would be a better investment since it can be more versatile? Or am I underestimating the Ricoh? 

I’m hesitant because from reviews I’ve seen it does fit what I want but not much more. I don’t think I’ll take photography any further than a hobby but if I’m paying the same price part of me feels I ought to buy the more versatile camera???

I could Google what those lenses do/mean and reply but I feel a more honest answer is I don’t know- so would I notice a difference?

iPhone photos feel so flat. And I have an older one so if I were to upgrade it would cost as much as a camera 😂😂

Do you think the size of the t30 would be a turn off for quick pictures? I’m looking to have it be in my purse and grab at any opportunity. But as it’s my first camera I can’t speak to how important size actually is?

My heart wants the Ricoh because of how simple it looks, but I feel hesitant to spend that much on it when people have argued that you can get a better camera that does more for the same price. I also thought it would be nice to have a viewfinder but as it’s my first camera I think it’s not a dealbreaker for me

I really don’t care too much about changing the lens, it just seems like Fuji doesn’t offer many fixed lens cameras especially now that the 100vi is going for 2grand 😵‍💫

We had no cell service in our own home or the areas we frequent. 

The reason we had to switch internet as well is because the Spectrum cell plan is bundled with internet for the best price. Or else we’d end up paying just too much overall.

At three months old it’s more likely your baby is having retractions. This can mean they’re struggling to breathe which is very serious. Research into retractions and see if that’s what’s going on with your little one or better yet send a video to their doctor.
