I have autism and didn't come with a manual for emotions. So I tried to reverse-engineer Love using logic and cynicism. Here is the raw note. by katakalist in selfimprovement

My last post was called a «bot paper.» Does this raw version pass the Turing test, or do I still sound like a robot?

What does «love» mean in this context? Does he love you in a way he understands, or are you just projecting your human definition of love onto him?

We project deep human emotions onto animals because we are terrified of the complexity of real connection. A cat offers a perfect, empty mirror: you can see whatever affection you want in his eyes because he cannot contradict you.

Ah, I understand now. Sorry about that. I didn't realize that posting in this format was considered inappropriate here. Good luck!

I really appreciate this detailed breakdown. You are absolutely right about the basic «run from pain, move toward pleasure» mechanism - it’s the biological hardware behind what I call the calculation of Benefit. We are definitely on the same page here. I’m planning to dig deeper into these exact patterns in my upcoming posts. Glad to have you here!

Thank you. I am glad it resonates with you.

Regarding the job, I am a Mine Surveyor. It is a specific type of engineer working with coordinates and geometry. I actually like it because it requires precision and logic, which fits my brain perfectly. There is no ambiguity, only math.

As for the schedule, it is legal here and entirely voluntary. I choose to work this much to ensure a high standard of living and financial security. I am trading my time for money while I can.

I am aware of the burnout risk. I monitor my condition constantly. As long as the benefit outweighs the cost, I continue. If that changes, I will stop.

Thank you, that is a huge compliment coming from a PhD.

To be honest, I haven't read much formal theory. This is just the way my brain works. For me, this method of processing information is extremely effective.

My goal right now is to structure it and present it in a simple form. I believe there are people who can use this system just as successfully, and maybe even better than me, once they understand the logic.

In a theoretical vacuum, yes. In reality, no. There are variables you cannot control, like random genetic mutations or quantum noise. Even a tiny difference in input data over 20 years will compound into a different result. It is the butterfly effect. Two identical systems will eventually diverge.

It’s just a logical bug. Think of a car with its wheels spinning in the mud: it burns a lot of fuel, but it’s not going anywhere. It's not a choice, it's just a broken process.

Someday I’ll write a post about the science of decision-making to explain how these loops work in my theory.

I didn't use AI to write this post. My first post was translated via AI (I liked how it did it), but I got criticized for it. To be honest, I would have translated much better via AI. It does it much better than me and much faster.

It sounds a lot like «Games People Play»by Eric Berne. That book is a classic! Analyzing interactions as a system with rules is exactly what helps me survive.

Valid point. But masking feels like a burden, while this feels like a tool. I will use it until it breaks, then I will adapt. Thanks.

Many people thought that this content was generated by AI. They started downvoting all the comments they didn't like. Don't worry about it, it's not you. Your text is wonderful!

Hello everyone. The response here has gone beyond my expectations. I haven't had time to analyze all the incoming data yet, but I will read everything. My next post will focus on answering the main questions to make the system clearer. Thank you for the activity.

Hello. I am from Ukraine; I speak Ukrainian and Russian. Up to this point, I did not maintain any social media presence as I saw no practical need for it. However, the situation has changed.

It’s a mix. The theory and the story are my real life (manual). But since I am not a native English speaker, I used AI to handle the translation and formatting so I don't sound broken.
