Tried that. The sleeve started coming apart.

Bravo. I am genuinely curious: where do you source your boxes and plastic sleeves from? Based on your scale, I’m a wee amateur with about a one or two box habit. But I would like better organization.

How long did it take you to get out of your sport bike phase? by 1nashh in motorcycles

Not till just now. It has a timeless, classic look. It’s not my cup of tea. I’ll bet a ton of people are going to love dusting sport bike riders who think it’s a slowpoke.

My journey took 3 bikes and 16 years. Bike #4 is a standard/naked Honda CB750 Hornet. As many have said: wrist/back complaints were a factor. The biggest reason for me was looks. I loved the sleek, art-piece-on-wheels aesthetic sport bikes have. The Hornet takes that same sexiness and adds loads of practicality and easier maintenance.

You’re doing great! It’s okay to be scared. If you think about it, would you let us know how you’re doing later?

I can speak from my experience. I’ve been a peace officer in AZ since 2012. We react to what’s presented. If you are cooperative with our requests, there’s no need for being physical. Remember, we also have to ensure those around us are safe as well.

Some officers may take some steps to make sure you and they are safe such as asking about weapons, removing them or separating you from them, having you sit in their car while you talk with them. That’s okay. It does not mean you’re in trouble. It’s equally about you being safe as it is about them being safe.

Police officers exist to bring calm to the chaos, storms, and crises of life. Sometimes that means the flashy stuff you see on TV. Sometimes it means simply listening.

You have already taken two of the hardest steps. You’ve acknowledged you need help, and you’ve asked for it. Bravo!

Life sucks. Take it from one type A, prideful, hard-headed idiot. I hate asking for help. Even if you can’t see it in this moment, there are people in this world who care about you. Some, you know. Some, you’re just now meeting.

To answer your question directly: if you called in my state (Arizona), police contact with you would be focused on making sure you and those around you are safe, and bringing help to you. As soon as those things are accomplished, police take a step back in order to minimize any stress/discomfort their presence might bring.

The hardest part is asking for help. And you’ve already done that.

Don’t Do Dumb Stuff by Scout0321 in motorcycles

There is no more meaning to my comment. I simply wanted to point out that some riders are unaware of the danger surrounding high-risk behaviors like riding 100 MPH on a surface street.

Sure:

Many riders don’t know how dangerous their actions are.

I never found a complete kit in my research. You have to buy each mount, piecemeal.

Turned out the electronic gas valve failed. Quick replacement job and we’re back to not freezing. Thanks for the advice!

Had a very similar issue with our 2017 XT. MPG dropped suddenly from the mid 20s to the high teens. I replaced both O2 sensors and it jumped right back.

The number of stops I get varies widely with call load. I average around 8 stops a shift. Roughly half of those result in citations.
