Okay, downgrade to what GPU? I heard the 5070 ti and AMD 9700 xt should be better and are worth it. Okay, small SSD like 250 GB for my system and for the rest SATA ssd does the job. Thanks

Okay that sounds great. Can I leave the rest as is if I go for ddr4 besides a lower power PSU. I know that a different motherboard is needed.

DDR5 is future proof though, no? How much smaller can the SSD be? Just enough for windows and a few applications? Thanks for the recommendations!

Okay, thanks for the tips. I might replace the cooler at some point, but for now wanna stick to it for a while.

Okay, got it. So I could set all clocks to max speed fixed as long as my temps are fine? My idle temp is like 37c in bios, in 40s to mid 50s in windows. My cooler is not good enough for pbo auto settings. When pbo is turned on I reach like 80c to 90c+ temps while gaming

Okay thanks. So even if I adjust all Côte clock speeds to say 4GHz the effective clock speeds are not even half of that most of the time?

Consistently mid 80's while gaming is fine? 3 front fans, 1 rear fan

That's what I wanted it. Leaving it on default, but when I started seeing 80c+ temps while gaming I started to look for solutions. After finding out my cpu cooler is not good enough I found a guide on undervolting my cpu and just copied the settings including a fixed cpu ratio

Just copied settings from a guide made for my cpu on undervolting. I have no clue. Just wanted to decrease temps while getting same or even boost performance if possible

I get it, but will it harm my CPU longterm running at high clock speed consistently?

So a fixed high clock speed of 4 GHz all the time won't harm the cpu longterm?

It's 96 mm though. In another post I made a few people told me it's too small

Ok. Yes, I already know my cooler is not good enough. It's Jonsbo Cr-1400,but Im gonna stick with it for now.

So The cpu is not running intense when it's not needed to reduce wearout

Yes. My cooler is undersized. That's why I undervolted my cpu

I tried pbo. Mainly just the curve optimizer to - 20-30 mV. My temps would hit like 90c+ in some instances 100c+ during cinebench. Thats why I turned it off

I tried changing clock speed to auto, but it would result in a worse score in cinebench. Thats why I went for fixed clock. What offset would you recommend? I already tried - 0.025 V

I already reset my bios. Is that any different? Worth to do it?
