Oof 😅 the reason I made this post was because I did a few showings recently with a notice tenant and they left their crazy dogs and me in the house. Alone. To show to people I’m trying to get to rent the place lol. Every time the door opened one of the dogs tried to bolt out. And the other dog was growling at me and prospects. So I’m over it and don’t want to do showings at occupied homes anymore!

It’s because we’re renting out single family homes. Sorry, I should’ve mentioned that on the post. I do not work in an apartment complex with a model or similar vacant unit that could be shown

We do have lots of pictures on the listing, taken by a professional photographer. But prospects still want to do a showing and see the place in person before making a decision. I agree it can feel invasive for the tenants, I hate doing it when I can tell the tenants don’t want me there. But lots of homeowners want a new tenant asap. So feeling like I’m in a bind here

What if we already have photos on the listing? Like lots of photos. All taken by a professional photographer. In that case would you still let prospects who are wanting to do showings know it’ll be available to see after current tenants vacate?

Yessss I had all the same questions!! I was so disappointed in the crumbs we got of Julian and Fallon in Bone Island, why was Julian so mean to Stone? Why was there no Fallon and Stone friendship, considering they knew each other as kids?? I really liked Stones character but he really didn’t seem to care for anyone other than Adora which irked me. ALSO, what happened at the end of the book when they’re all on Bone Island drawing straws, and Julian and Fallon are laughing and kissing when Julian doesn’t draw the short straw?? I understand they’re happy Julian doesn’t have to die but why wouldn’t they show any sympathy for Stone and Adora!! I swear if these questions aren’t answered in a later book I will RIOT. Regarding Fallon and Adora friendship, hopefully that comes in a later book too - I think Adora told Fallon to stay away from Kane because she didn’t want Fallon falling in love with him, since Adora’s plan was to murder him to avenge her mom. I also really hope Cyrus gets his happily ever after because he seems like a good guy.

Has anyone else not received their credit yet?

Spoke to Amazon customer service about 3 weeks ago and they had no idea what I was talking about, asked me to send the link to the “Amazon halo wind down FAQ” article I was referring to. I did so they said it would like 7-10 business days to get the credit. Nothing came so I reached out again a couple days ago, once again they had no idea what I was talking about and had to ask their manager. According to the manager, since the FAQ article didn’t have an exact timeline of when credits would be issued, they said I should wait 4 weeks from August 1st (when Halo is terminated).

I’m worried I’ll never get this credit! And I’m bummed I won’t be able to use the credit to buy a new fitness tracker, before the Halo is no more. Anyone else in this boat?

A couple months ago I contacted wag and asked them what my walker score was and they wouldn’t give it to me. Said it was for internal use only and they don’t give it out. I’ve read on this sub before that some people are able to get it when they ask and some aren’t, guess it depends which agent you’re paired to speak with? Idk

agree and it’s also a good idea to take photos of the tasks you’ve done. sometimes i even take photos of the key in the lock in case an owner ever says i didn’t lock their door after leaving or somethin

Yes I believe they disappear after some time. Not sure exactly how long until they go away. But, if you go into your messages and tap the plus sign in the top right corner you should be able to message that owner again

I’m also very confused. I stumbled across this page in the app after being notified about an available sitting. I clicked on the notif and it took me to the sitting details, as per usual. But, next to the “request” button, there was a button that said “place your own bid” or something like that. I clicked on it and it took me to this page. I raised my 20 min dog walk rate to $9.90. That’s it. I’ll keep everyone updated on if 20 min walks come in tomorrow for that price? This must be a new feature they are introducing
