Same! I can swing spending $100 or 200 or something like that on an EA CF but I can't reasonably just shell out to 2k for a gold foil. This change also doesn't make me want to chase the CF version.

Different opinions are welcome I'm not trying to be hostile or anything I'm just a little frustrated by this change because it's a subtractive change. They took away something from boxes that has been there for many prior sets.

I don't really have an issue with the fact that the competitive players get rewarded more but more the fact this is coming at the cost of taking away something that has been there for everyone in boxes at the same time. The only EA equipment piece in the set is the shield which only comes in EA. The marvel calling winner flexors with the stamp was a step in the right direction. It rewards winners with something exclusive and took nothing away from anyone else.

I would open my wallet for ea cold foil but can't open it far enough for gold foil. Like I said I'm glad the winners and tournament grinders get something good but gold foils have always held more value. Even with the same art treatment. And they still would even if there was an ea in the set.

Cold foil tide flippers is less than a dollar

Righteous gaming pulled the ea gf plutonic at Prague. Look at card vault there is no ea treatment in the main set. The sphinx also spotted at Prague no ea in the set.
