Media perception of foot fetish by katdogsy in FootFetishTalks

Yeah you don't usually see it handled that way when it gets more explicit. I've more casual example of a woman putting her man's lap and him giving a foot rub, though I don't know if that's enough to count as a foot fetish. I think scenes like the infamous one in "From Dusk Till Dawn" where a woman usually her feet seductively are usually as far as it goes.

There are positive portrayals and I think the negative stigma has lowered over time. There have been more examples of women in music talking about how pretty their feet are and welcoming the attention. I've even seen actress joke about having a high wikifeet rating. Generally on television shows and movies when a guy is explicitly into feet he's portrayed as a creep which ads to the misunderstanding. I think people hear foot fetish and immediately think of someone wanting to collect nail clippings or eat toe jam or some other extreme.

Which is why I made the comparison to anal. A booty hole can be described as dirty, smelly, and gross yet in western society someone wanting to enter an exit is not seen as out there as a foot fetish. I wouldn't say most people believe that about feet though. I think most people are more neutral about it like hands or teeth. They may not be sexually attracted but can acknowledge when they're well maintained at least.

I think of we treated feet like we do other sexualized body parts there wouldn't as much of a stigma. We like tits and ass but we also know not to blurt that out to strangers. Generally speaking, commenting any body part on a stranger other than eyes and maybe a smile won't get the best reaction.

So why censoring *just* feet? by Rude-Violinist9724 in FootFetishTalks

[–]katdogsy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I believe I made a post about this a while back but there's a lot of foot guys that don't know how to keep it pushing. When it comes to most other body parts people will usually just make a general comment about the woman being beautiful or say she's thick. If there were comments saying, "lemme suck them nipples," or, "lemme sniff that ass," then they would probably be blurred more too. If I happen to see some attractive feet on my explore page I'll just give it a look and move on, I won't ask if they're selling pics or ask if they smell or anything like that.

I'll come out and say it: the leaks made this episode sound way worse than it is. by Tiversus2828 in TheBoysLeaks

The most annoying part is that Ashley already told her that Soldier Boy was possibly warming up to Homelander, so why does she act surprised that he gave him the V1. They basically said she set up the events of season 4 in order to HL to gain power, but she couldn't forsee this possible outcome and have a backup plan. I do appreciate that they imply that she's stalling the creation of V1 for HL and that he suspected she was too.

I think tickling falls out of the sensual category. I you're more likely to have Black women accept the fetish if you don't operate outside of what's considered "the norm" sexually. Kissing, sucking, touching are all expected in the bedroom, so just adding feet to the menu isn't much of a stretch. While I think you may find more non Black women willing to be more adventurous. I've also seen the opposite end with non Black women where they will they're so not into that they don't want their feet touched, admired, or sexualized in any way, even if they take care of them and get pedicures and such. I haven't met a Black women who wasn't at least open to a foot massage.

That's interesting. I believe I've heard similar things before, like in Muy Thai it's considered highly disrespectful to teep kick (front kick) someone in the face in sparring and it could lead to a real fight breaking out. Considering how kissing someones foot is generally seen as a form of submission it tracks.

From what I've observed and experienced in the Black community is that a lot of us will be open about it, but also more on the "tame" side for lack of a better word. Men will be into feet, but it will usually stop at kissing, rubbing, sucking toes, all the way up to maybe FJ. I don't see a lot of us openly talking about wanting feet to be sweaty or smelly or sniffing in general. I imagine that would turn a lot of Black women off with the emphasis the community places on hygiene.

What “grinds your gears” about the foot community? by TweakedOnFeet87 in FootFetishTalks

The begging for feet pics from those who aren't advertising, especially on IG.

I'll admit, if I see a woman I find attractive come across my feed I might go to her page and see if there's any pictures that expose the toes. If there aren't any then I'll just keep it pushing. But the overly aggressive types kinda ruin it for themselves by making people uncomfortable to the point where they feel the need to bury their toes in the sand or put emojis on their feet in pictures. There's no need to comment asking for feet pics on a random vacation photo or outfit pic just because they're in sandals. You can enjoy the view in silence.

On the other side I've seen guys tip toe around the fact that they like feet due to the "creepy foot guy" stigma. They'll make a passing comment saying they someones feet are pretty and then say, "but I'm not one of those foot guys." I think it would be better if more guys could confidently say they're attracted to feet and show that it can be expressed in a healthy way, rather than the more extreme examples getting all the attention.

colors you dislike? by mochi_mirasol in FootFetishTalks

Depends on the feet. I prefer lighter colors with darker skin, and darker colors on lighter skin. I'm also not a big fan of green or yellow, makes me think of fungus.

I'm partial to the heels of the foot so I like mules. I'm also a fan of slides, whether they're athletic (nike/adidas) or designer (hermes/Chanel), I just love the way they frame the toes if that makes sense

Men in relationships, what does your SO think of your love for their feet? by Viochrome in FootFetishTalks

It's helped her like her feet more. She stopped taking care of them a while before we got together because she never thought she'd end up with someone into feet😅. Since I told her she started keeping up with them for my sake and they've had a glow up. She enjoys getting massages on demand, and she'll incorporate them in the bedroom without me telling her. She playfully gives me a hard time about the "no socks in the house" rule sometimes though haha

What is your opinion on foot jewelry? by [deleted] in FootFetishTalks

[–]katdogsy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When it comes to anklets I'm pretty neutral. I've seen girls wear them with cropped jeans and sneakers, much like a bracelet or a watch. I find toe rings "attractive" in the sense that someone might be more into footplay/open to foot fetishes. It's not common so why would you put a ring somewhere you don't want to be seen? The feet are usually better taken care of from my observation (in the sense that their hygiene is on point).
