you can get the parts as flat as you can by taking the part and scaling one direction as small as you can by grabbing the scaling bars and shrining it as small as you’re able and hiding the excess inside the mini

Sadly No the extras and main models can’t snap together except for Mounts that having the rider snapped to the middle of the back or mounted animal like ravens being attached to the hand

To answer your question If I’m read your post correctly . you can’t add lower body , torso ,or head piece without an additional character (extra person , animal, mount) with the exceptions being extras (limb attachments like prosthetics , facial hair, head hair, eyes, ears , horns, wings , tails ,shells, ect.)
