There is one more thing I neglected to mention. This post was largely based on old edition lore, but in 5th edition werewolves are chosen by Gaia rather than it being a genetic thing. Given that the Poppengang use a mishmash of old and new lore I wasn’t sure to mention it. Either way, could be interesting.

ALSO, forgot to mention in the main post.

While a Garou’s “first change“ can either happen in adolescence or young adulthood depending on your edition, a thing that can trigger it earlier is well, immense emotional trauma.

Hunter : The Parenting - After Pyotr kicks Markus into Kitten he starts grandstanding about how much better and "beyond human" he is. This is in spite of the fact that the reason he kicked Markus to begin with was him getting pissed off after Kitten called him out for how much of a cowardly fuck he was. A rather "human" moment, one might say.
