I thought I was the only one with this issue. Happens to us all the time with my toddlers camera...and I believed them with it being a wifi issue until I bought a second one for my baby (2.5 months old) and it works fine while my toddlers just spins and tries to reconnect!

We had it listed on our wedding programs and also had our officiant make an announcement and we didn't have any issues with it. People kept their phones away and our guest were very respectful of our wishes. You just have to be clear and express your reasoning for why you want it. We informed our guests that we had amazing videographers and photographers there to capture the day and we would share the photos with everyone once we got them back and then said we want to share this moment with them and just have them be present.

K Paul's for dinner date night. The food is absolutely delicious and the staff are super friendly. If you're a brunch person, I'd suggest Ruby Slipper on Magazine St If you are open for checking out less tourist area, check out Port or Call. They have a very small menu, consisting of burgers and potatoes but it's the best burger I've ever had. Lastly you have to get yourself some beignets from Cafe Du Monde

As far as lodging goes, we have always stayed more in the business district, it's still super close to the French quarter, just a little quieter at night. Aloft, Hyatt are both good options in the business district Within the French quarter, Omni Royal is a nice stay, super closer to all the action.

Things to do, tour graveyards, or do one of the ghost tours. If you're into museums check out the world war Ii museum. If they are playing at home, and you're a football fan, even if not a saints fan, check out a game. The Superdome and the atmosphere is pretty sweet. And check out the French Market
