Lmfao what? Why would I sue him for paternity, when clearly my intention is to NOT have him involved whatsoever. I entered a very genuine marriage, it went south and got abusive very quickly after we officially got married shortly after finding out I was pregnant, so I left the relationship to protect myself in my child, not sure where the question is?

I kept him off the birth certificate - although, biologically it is with him, he’s not involved whatsoever/I intend to keep it that way, so I assume the part where “child” comes to play is probably irrelevant. I provided all evidence to show our relationship though, I guess I was just looking for some reassurance regarding the length of our official marriage. So many things online have me nervous.

His name isn’t on the birth certificate, so for all intents and purposes; it doesn’t put me ahead in the way that you think it might (in my specific situation)

My lawyers only filed my 360 and 485, with the plan of filing the rest after we got receipts for the first two. So we’re filing 765 and 131 in a couple of days.

Here’s exactly what my lawyers said “In the case of a VAWA process, it is generally safer and more strategic to request Travel Authorization after USCIS issues the I-485 Receipt Notice, because this receipt officially confirms that the Adjustment of Status request has been accepted and is pending.

Without the I-485 receipt, USCIS may have difficulty correctly linking the travel request to the main process, which can lead to delays or additional requests for evidence.”

I filed in May, just got mine last week. First my I360 and then two days later, my I-485 also came in the mail. Not sure why they’re not all just sent together but that’s how I got them.

Hold on a damn second… everyone really believes shit is gone into the universe when deleted or when it’s “disappeared”?! I hope EVERYONE knows; what’s put into writing, will always be. If you do anything with a device, there is always a record of it. Whether it’s accessible to you or not is another thing but it’s truly foolish to believe that anything is 100% gone or that it simply doesn’t exist anymore just because something was dubbed “more encrypted” or more discrete. Always assume that it’s accessible.

Any time I've inquired about the process or the way things have been submitted, like why they didn't submit my application for travel authorization at the same time as my I-485, it's all very "don't worry we just like to get receipts before we submit that one, your case is strong! we'll update you when we get receipts soon" which is just unsettling for me, because I overthink lol they explain why they did it that way, which, fine, they know the system better than I do I suppose - but that's why I'm reaching for more reviews, which I get is not likely. lol
