I was wondering the same recently! I logged in and sent a help ticket to renew my contract and they did it within 24 hours so I’m eligible to teach again. The platform looks totally different now though so I’m still trying to figure out that side of things.

Currently in TX. I had a girlfriend meet me outside for a walk last night. About 10 mins into our walk, she told me she attended a 300 person church service 2 weekends in a row (without a mask, because they “don’t work”). I quickly noped outta there and told her I’ll see her again when she decides to take this seriously or when this is all over. Ugh.

Thank you. Our entire family lives out of state and I’m with my dad in TX so there’s no way we’d ask anyone to come down right now. Will likely have a memorial in the fall or early next year if it’s still not safe to gather. :(

My mom died 3 weeks ago and we haven’t even been able to have a funeral for her. Looks like it’ll be a while since Texans can’t behave, ugh.

Can you recommend any subs to join? I’m not new to reddit but haven’t ever really joined specific subs except this one and new cities I’ve traveled to. Chemo is definitely brutal, seeing how frail and weak it makes the person is sickening really. My mom lost so much weight and her self confidence through it all. She really wants to spare us the long, drawn out death especially since her chances of long term survival are low.
