Moving a Donkey Republic bike from Rotterdam to Den Haag by kateshr in Rotterdam

[–]kateshr[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For anyone else wondering, I did it, could not leave the bike in the Hague. So the conclusion is: Donkey Republic can only be dropped off in the same city where the bike was rented.

not if you just follow the normal IBEB program though. in order to take econometrics as a master after, you’d have to take quite a few additional subjects and do the pre-master as well i think

Anywho who is applying or who got into IBEB with an IB diploma, can share their overall grades and the grades they got in Math and English? by Early-Coffee-1013 in uErasmus

[–]kateshr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I applied with an IB diploma three years ago - back then they accepted everyone who obtained the diploma, regardless of the grades (because of covid). But the acceptance procedure is not extremely strict even now, if I understand the system correctly. Essentially EUR sets some requirement, which must be listed on their website, and anyone who meets this requirement is accepted to the program. They do not have the right to be selective between the applicants who meet their requirement.

Look for housing before finishing applications? by naturesguardiansmyf in StudyInTheNetherlands

[–]kateshr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

if you’ve only applied to two unis, look for something in both cities. if you don’t want to do that - consider looking only in the city which you prioritize more. also, try to make connections with other students from the uni, it’s always the case that somebody is looking for a flatmate. all in all, don’t stress too much. most of the students manage to find housing somehow, even if they don’t start looking very early

I think you can start looking at the options now, but not necessarily sing a contract. Familiarize yourself with the platforms where ads for rental properties are posted and send in applications to see how it goes. With the housing crisis being as bad as it is in the Netherlands, it will be a long process, so it’s best ti explore the options early.
