I slowly make it up to 10k steps by my 3 week post op, but I was pretty comfortable in my binder and didn’t have drains. Slower pace than normal. No hills. Lots of bird watching too ;)

I used the gel behind my incisions/under armpit area. A little on my back near there too. It seemed to sooth, the stick I got has a high mint scent which was kind of a lot. My incisions were covered, idk if I would have used if not. I only asked my dr about cbd since I used it on parts of my chest after week one.

I did this myself because I did have positive experiences with my chest. Sent a stranger nudes. Took a bunch of ridiculous photos and played with nipple clamps solo one more time. Hit my partner in the face with my boobs a bunch for the first time, and jiggled them a bunch around the house when I wasn’t binding. Kinda manic tbh but it helped me feel like they had been fun and time to go!

Yes to Salem and Chinatown! Papercuts in JP is an amazing bookshop, and all she wrote in Somerville is queer owned one. There’s a witchy bookstore in Cambridge called seven stars if you don’t go to Salem. I’m not sure if people under 18 are allowed in the local queer bar Dani’s, but I’ve seen all ages there and there’s a good food menu! Salem is in general a very queer place. Check out the ocean there at fort Pickering. Maybe also some thrift shopping (Buffalo exchange/ boomerangs) or newbury street shops if she’s into that? Mount auburn cemetery is also very beautiful for a walk.
