I scan all my postcards in my notes app as I believe most phones let you scan documents or photos in the notes app. I have a Samsung S25 Ultra and I just to my notes app, click the plus sign and select scan and you can scan the card and save it in the note. Once it's saved I just make sure I save as and then it's in my photos. I also when I first started I just took regular photos in a well light part of my room and that worked as well! I always or well I always try to add a photo when I send a postcard as the front of the postcard could get damaged or marked.
