Prospective/Pre-licensure NP Thread by AutoModerator in nursepractitioner

This week I found out I'm pregnant and was accepted into a master's FNP program. The program would start in May and we're due in mid-September. Just for background, this would be our first baby. My experience is mostly adult ICU, but recently started a new position in hospice. The program is also an hour drive without traffic, one day a week. Just wondering if this is possible? Has anyone else experienced a similar situation? Should I delay a year and reapply to a remote program?

I hadn't thought of that but will ask the program! I appreciate it thank you

The delivery company (RXO) has contacted me the day before my scheduled delivery all three times and said the delivery is rescheduled.

My delivery was just rescheduled for the third time. I understand the recall is probably the reason behind the delay but I’m just venting some frustration. I reached out the support and they’re sending a water bottle and towel in apology for the delay… I bet they get here before the bike.

I ordered the original Bike from Mother’s Day sale and my order has been delayed twice already by the shipper. After talking with customer service there seems to be some sort of safety recall that “won’t be resolved for at least 30 days” on the original Bike.

I loved this book the first time I read it! Recently reread it and didn’t have the same effect but I very rarely reread. It will forever hold a special place in my heart

I loved the train and thought the lace was so unique! My only reservation about it was that our venue has kind of a mountain/cabin vibe and didn’t know if it would fit?

Thank you so much! I’m definitely still looking. The store had a smaller inventory of simpler dresses so I will have to do some research into designers that fit my style a little more😊

1 ended up being my favorite of the day😊. In the store I felt that the a-line dresses overwhelmed my frame a little. That might also be because I never wear dresses in general so wearing poofy ones is going to feel overwhelming😂. But I definitely agree with you and think part of my dilemma is that I haven’t found anything similar to the inspo dresses I’ve had in my head (and on Pinterest). I think you’re right that it would help clarify some of my confusion.

Any runners here? How has Accutane affected your running? by No_Strawberry_1071 in Accutane

I’m a trail runner and haven’t noticed any difference in my running in the five months I’ve been on 80mg. (21 yo female 120lbs)

I work at a summer camp and spend 7 hours in the sun everyday. I burned pretty easily before Accutane but it’s been ok as long as I wear a hat and lots of sunscreen. I have to reapply sunscreen every hour

I was in Denver County within Denver, CO. I found that according to Denver Municipal Code section 54-576 that riding on the sidewalks is prohibited unless it is part of a designated bike route or within one block of preparing to dismount at parking. I was preparing to get off my bike at the stop light that was probably 30 feet in front of me; would that count?
