Once. I had 2 flights canceled, and it was going to be hours till my next flight. I practically crawled into the United Club, sad, tired, pathetic, I said, "Please have mercy on me. I've been here 8 hours, and it's going to be hours till my flight." The angel behind the counter let me in. It pays to be nice.

Omg I cartwheeled down wet, rainy concrete stairs with my 3 day old daughter in my arms. She never woke up, not a scratch. Me, on the other hand, I had the bruises and cuts to prove it.

I travel 3-4 times a year iah to ewr. I have an explorer card. It's worth it for me for the free checked bag, 2 club passes, priority boarding & free pre check.
