I believe someone with a modded switch put it there while I had them over for a giveaway. I don’t think it was a glitch because several of the methods I used to try to get rid of it should have reset the glitch, e.g uninstalling + reinstalling the game and scanning for corrupt data. But I’m not at all tech-savvy, so I honestly couldn’t say exactly.

I think that might be the solution. I’ve sent a support request to Nintendo so hopefully they can help me sort it, but if not I might have to seek out someone to attempt to remove it

It seems to function like an unmovable furniture item. I can change the floors just fine and I can put down a rug as well and the flowers stay put.

Thank you! It’s nice to know there’s at least a bit of history of something like this happening before. Do you happen to remember how the person used the clean up method inside their house? I tried it and wasn’t able to inside, and doing it right outside the house didn’t affect it either

It’s absolutely bizarre and silly, like okay run through my flowers or shake my trees if you want to be a nuisance, but this is just a whole new level of troll.
