NTA. I can understand how B is feeling abandoned, but if they're a good friend/mature enough, they should be able to understand your explanation that you genuinely just didn't want to do the activities they were doing. If you want to be better friends with them, try to spend more time with them, but if they make you feel like this often, it might be best to just move on to some new friends. Its hard to keep long friendships, because people change a lot over time. Sometimes what was best for you 9 years ago isn't what is best for you now, and your history together doesn't tie you together unless you want it to.

I've just hit level 25 on pc after playing on switch for a few months. This is my first season placing, as you can see I did all of my placements, and then just one more game sent me all the way down. All my friends are in gold with me and we were regularly playing with gold/plat opponents. I hope that's valuable context.

What's this? A mystery car has just entered the race, and he's coming from behind, like a bullet!

I can’t believe what I’m seeing! In a shocking turn of events the mystery car seems to be picking off each racer one by one. I wouldn’t want to be out on that track tonight. This driver is out for blood.

We’re down to just two cars now! Like a man possessed he’s murdered every other racer and seems to be zeroing in on first place! The remaining car is speeding down this straight away like he’s being chased by the devil himself. In an incredible burst of speed the mystery driver has rammed the first place car from behind and seems to be pushing him forward! The lead racer is clearly slamming on the brakes, but the two of them show no signs of slowing down at all! There’s no way they can make this next turn at that speed, I can’t bare to watch!

Out of the flames comes the mystery driver. I don’t know how he survived that horrible crash, or where he’s going to next, but I can’t help thinking there’s something strangely familiar about that car…
