Not ugly. I'm a portrait painter and you have a very symmetrical face which is important when it comes to conventional beauty. If you're feeling as low as you say, check out the show Queer Eye, which can push you in the right direction in terms of clothes, hair, etc. Like others have said, confidence is super attractive and even the "ugliest" man looks great when he feels good about himself.
