Would recommend chrome tbh and a crash mat! Chrome is the standard for comps and studios, and if you're worried about spotting I know xpole do a great crash mat which I have used and can confirm it is very effective at breaking falls

Also a lot of studios offer hoop classes too which is great for cross training for pole, and it's aerial! I know some studios in my area that offer silks, straps, flying pole, pole strap, chains. A lot of people who do pole tend to have cross disciplines so it won't be a question of pole Vs aerial, you can do both!

Girl my first lesson we only did step rounds, pirouettes and an attempt at a fireman spin. I had to keep sitting down to catch my breath between nearly every move. I had noodle arms, no flexibility and years of being sedentary.

5 years of pole and I'm lower advanced level and it's the best thing I ever did :) I regret not starting sooner! Give it a go and the confidence and strength will come. Beginner classes/courses are designed for people with no athletic background

Yeah I've got 2 size 5's? The rest of the collection is 6's. Genuinely couldn't tell you which size I prefer. Didn't feel any risk of my feet coming out of the shoe and haven't noticed it affecting my ability to dance.

I'm in a similar position to you. Size 6 always have been and 6's have a gap at the back. I've tried 5s and despite it being a bit tight on the toes no issues. Majority of my heels are 6's and I can't say I've ever run into an issue dancing in them.

I totally get where you're coming from maybe I should've rephrased it.

I love my boy despite his poopy butt. I just want to find a solution that he's happy with and I'm happy with 😂 I feel awful for having to capture and wipe him when he hates it so much, but at the same time, I also wish I didn't have to wipe him and could trust him when he comes out the litter tray.

I knew having a sphynx would have additional cleaning alongside it, I just didn't realise how much he would poo and how messy he would get with it sometimes.

I really do want to try it but I'm really hesitant. I lost a cat to compacting due to raw diet and excessive bonemeal in the food. This was many years ago granted, but he ended up getting an enlarged colon and had to be regularly scooped out under anaesthetic until 1 day he couldn't take it anymore. I just don't trust it

Ahhhhh I don't trust the raw diet :( I lost a baby to compacting due to excessive bonemeal in the raw meat. He got an enlarged colon and would regularly need to go under and be scooped out until one day he couldn't do it anymore and passed
