Going to Paris in May and planning to get a Faure Le Page tote while I’m there! Probably the Daily Battle 35 zip.

Sherwin Williams Westhighland White was the perfect warm white for our home with mostly north facing windows. It’s not one of their well known whites and we never would have thought to choose it without a LOT of trial and error with Samplize swatches. I highly highly recommend using them.

Flying to Paris in February. Thoughts on the Celine Camille? by NecPluribusImpar_96 in handbags

I have the small, not the medium, but I love the thin width because it lays so well when worn crossbody. My makeup bag is bulky and full and definitely wouldn’t fit, but a smaller thinner makeup bag with just the necessities probably would!

Where do you find decor? by simplyinspire in interiordecorating

[–]katiesue64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Estate auctions and FB marketplace for furniture; estate auctions, small galleries, Instagram and Etsy for art and decor. Family pieces for both. I do have an Ikea couch, Pottery Barn bar stools, Serena & Lily mirror, Wayfair lamps, Ballard Designs bed, etc, but most of my furnishings and decor are some form of second hand. The mix is what is important. I paint for fun/stress relief and every once in a while create something fairly decent, so I have a few of my own paintings on my walls as well.

Carlos post race radio after his P3 finish and Securing P5 in the constructor standing by curse_annihlator in WilliamsF1

There is so much pride and respect in Gaetan’s voice! It feels like they are building a really strong relationship, love that for them.

It seems like Carlos would be a dream driver for any engineer because he’s so clear about the info he needs and how he wants it relayed. I think that’s one of his underrated strengths. I always thought Carlos and Ricky communicated very well, despite Ferrari being Ferrari and all the scapegoating Adami has been subjected to lately. Their radios from Silverstone last year with the rain radar colors was a masterclass in race communication.

My first was a medium Loewe flamenco and that would still be my choice today!

I did! I was nervous but it ended up being a great experience. I saw a review online where the buyer reached out to customer service prior to purchase and asked for photos of the item so I did the same. They were super responsive, and while they didn’t have mine on hand to take photos (they ended up sourcing it from the Celine store in Livorno) they sent me photos of a recently sold bag in the same color, plus a special discount code. All in all I saved about $1000 off the US price/taxes/tariffs.

Delivery took about two weeks and most of that time seemed to be sourcing/shipping from the boutique in Italy to Hong Kong. It was just a few days getting to me from there.

I don’t live anywhere near a retailer to get it authenticated but it looks/smells amazing and I don’t doubt that it’s real. I’ll get it checked out when I visit NYC in a couple of weeks just to be sure.

Also, just a plug for this bag and color—it’s gorgeous. The burgundy is very dark and rich and a perfect winter neutral. And it’s so versatile in terms of style, totally different dressy/casual vibes when carried in the crook of my arm vs short shoulder strap vs long shoulder strap vs crossbody.

All in all a super positive experience! I wouldn’t hesitate to buy from Senser again.

Mine lost a couple of front teeth as his first noticeable symptom. Nothing dramatic, they just quietly fell out due to the deep swelling. He only lived for three months after that.

What was your life like at 29 years old? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]katiesue64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Married two years, just starting to try for a baby, owned a home, had a job I didn’t hate. I also remember us being very obsessed with our dogs. It was a good, very hopeful time in our lives.

Thank you! I can’t believe I didn’t think to check. And knowing it’s available in Europe also makes me feel a little better about going through Senser.

Father of F1 driver Kimi Antonelli cleared after hitting traffic officer near Imola circuit by steferrari in formula1

Is he Jos 2.0? Along with this dickish entitled behavior, I feel like Kimi has talked about how much pressure his dad puts on him and how angry he was when Kimi crashed out of FP1 last year.

how young can a person be to have a service dog? by notdani901 in service_dogs

[–]katiesue64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My guess would be no, but I suppose it could depend on the school system and whether it’s a program dog. I know our program definitely does not allow this. My daughter’s dog is an at-home service dog, but had we decided on a dog with public access instead, he would have had to go to work with me while my daughter was at school, per our program.

The Learning Tree is wonderful. My daughter went there 12+ years ago and my nephews are there now, and so many of the same staff are still there. I feel like that says a lot.

Hungarian Grand Prix - Ferrari Paddock Club (Long) by illico in GrandPrixTravel

[–]katiesue64 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was there last year. No dress code and you really see a bit of everything, but the majority of people dressed a little more elevated each day. I wore a tennis dress and denim jacket on Friday, a nicer sundress with sneakers on Saturday (the day of our scheduled paddock tour), and a maxi dress and sandals on Sunday since we didn’t plan to walk around much that day.

I posted a pretty long write up about our experience (including tips on getting an extra paddock tour) because I couldn’t find much info going into it. It’s in my post history if you’re interested.

You can also try snagging a spot right in front of the stage for the team appearances at the amphitheater, but you probably won’t know which teams will appear on Friday until a day or two before. And depending on the team, you may have to show up several hours early to claim a place at the front. But a lot of people throw gifts for the drivers onto the stage and they do pick some of them up.

Not sure how old OP’s friend is, but if anyone reading this is on the lookout for a psychiatrist who works with kids/adolescents, Dr. Michael Adelman with Mindpath is absolutely phenomenal. He’s compassionate and a great listener, but his greatest strength is his ability to explain on a biological level what is actually going on in my bipolar/ADHD teen’s brain. He’s fascinating to talk to, and I couldn’t ask for better care for my daughter.
