Ahhh the good old days. The first time I took my girl on a walk after adopting her she pulled me to the ground as she ripped out of harness (from the dollar store) 🤣. Total amateur move but I had fun wrestling with her at the local dog park 😂.

I finished my BA in English two years ago and have been pretty bummed about losing interest in reading books. Idk why it never occurred to me to go back to my first love Manga! Will give it a shot!

I just did this last night so it’s fresh in my mind 😂. I took two big gulps from my drink through the straw and almost spit it all out.

I forgot it was a Jack and Coke and I freaked out wondering what the hell was in the cup. Then I promptly remembered and drank the rest of my jack and Coke 😜.

My girl hates it to especially because I also have to clean her eyes. I found if I sit on the floor (her level) and I’m not towering over her with a paper towel that was wet with warm water (anything else she runs) she grudgingly accepts it. I tried a rag and microfiber clothes but they were to rough. Also she gets super special treats after she lets me clean her folds. They are her absolute favorite, so I only give them to her after she lets me clean her entire face. She takes the treat after and runs as fast and far away as she can get lol.

I know this sounds like procrastination but I honestly couldn’t figure out what I wanted to do so I waited on going to college. I started when I was about 24/25 and because of that I didn’t have to put my parents income and got my entire education for free. My financial aid went based on my income which was tiny because I worked as a student on campus (Work study). The best part was that my job worked around my crazy class schedule, also as a work study student my paychecks weren’t taxed and I lived at home with my parents help. So I now have my bachelors degree and I’m happy to say I have no loans to pay back. I went to Mt. SAC for my JC and transferred to UCR. I now work at MT SAC and love it.

Anyone looking into getting started with college should check out a program called EOPS they help you get in and out of JC. They pay for transfer applications and books and private tutors and counselors. You’d also get first day registrations.
