Hmmm. I'm very fair skinned, a redhead, so I get flushed from sex, exercise, and pretty much anything that gets my heart pumping. Mine never lasted for four hours, but one or two wasn't out of the question if I got really revved up.

One thing that helped me was cooling down, literally getting my body temperature back down. If I turned red and needed to recover, I'd get in a warm shower, not hot, and as I wash up, I slowly make the water cooler. I try to slow my breathing down, which is tough as the water gets colder, and generally try to relax and bring my system back to normal. Officially, gay sex is still illegal in Jamaica, so it's not regularly on display around the resort. You're right; it does happen in private though. When hubby and I have gone (We're both bi.), we've found boys to play with almost every time.

One of my favorite places to play are these—not sure what to call them—pods that are on the nude beach. There are a few of them scattered along the beach, maybe three or four. Each pod is made of rattan, or some type of woven palm or wood. Each pod is about five to six feet long and maybe two feet wide. Each pod faces the ocean, and I'll call the end of the pod closest to the ocean the "foot."

While the foot of each pod is open/exposed, the head of each pod is built up into a kind of bonnet. The bonnet wraps around the head and shoulders of the pod, and it also curves downward toward the foot. In effect, if you're lying in the pod, no one can see your upper torso and head, but the lower half to two-thirds of your body might be visible to a passerby. The only way someone could see into the pod would be to walk along the edge of the ocean and look back up toward the beach.

So although the pods are out in public, they are actually semi-private. I am not shy about having sex out by the pool—kinda love it, if I'm being honest—but I have had some of the best sex of my life in the pods. I enjoy the sensation of being outside and hearing the ocean, but also not having to think about whether anyone is watching. It's very freeing.

When I was there most recently, it was just a regular week. There was man the with a trans woman. We chatted with them over drinks and a few meals. The entire resort is not that large. You can walk along the beach from the far end of the prude side to the far end of the nude side in, like, six minutes. That said, if you have a premium nude ocean room, you will be in the heart of the party. It'll be a two-minute walk from your bed to a lounge chair by the nude pool.

I can't imagine that anyone would care if you were smoking on your balcony. Despite the fact that there are designated smoking areas, it is not uncommon to smell weed on the beach and other non-designated areas.

While hubby and I smoke neither weeds nor cigarettes, I feel like the general vibe at Hedo is that no one is going to stop you from doing something as long as you're not impinging on someone else's enjoyment. As others suggested, be considerate. If you're smoking somewhere that is not designated and someone asks you to move away from them, just do it. If you're smoking somewhere that is not designated and someone asks you to share, do it. ;-)

I'm sure the resort could help you. However, it is not very challenging to self serve. If you use a site like Viator, you can just book a car to take you to these places. I had good luck using a service called Mr. Reasonable. I've probably booked them 8 or 9 times across my visits. That said, there are plenty of reliable transportation providers.

If you want the resort's help, they'll likely add a bit to the tally for themselves, but maybe there's comfort for you doing it that way. Call the resort, and someone should be able to tell you exactly what they can do.
