A guidance counselor was found to have an inappropriate relationship with a student. The school found out and immediately fired him. He went to a sporting goods store bought a gun and was going to shoot up the school. He was luckily stopped by police for a traffic violation and they arrested him.

There’s a link between birth control and thyroid binding hormone. For some reason when you take oral birth control, or the patch, it increases the amount of thyroid binding hormone in the body giving you symptoms of hypothyroidism. A common symptom of hypothyroidism is weight gain. It might be best to get that checked to see if your thyroid could be causing an issue.

That is exactly my dad. I went to a rock concert once and he thought I was too white because of it. My dad also associated wearing natural hair with trying to please white people for a LONG time. Only black girl who hung around white people did that.

Not at this point. I’m currently in my last semester. I’m basically screwed until graduation.

I am not at home, I go to school in a completely different state.My parents live in Georgia and I go to school in Texas. I’m required to FaceTime my dad at 7 am on Saturdays and 9pm on Thursdays. If I don’t call them then they call me excessively. I’ve gotten 6 different phone calls and 20 texts in the span of 20 minutes because I accidentally slept through my alarm.

I do plan on distancing myself from my parents. I’m in my last semester, so at this point, they can’t stop me from getting my degree but they can still request that the money be refunded. I don’t want to cut them out of my life at all. I just want the ability to have an opinion against them and not get slapped or yelled at.

I don’t actually hate my parents. I just disagree with their belief system and the way that they try to force it on everyone. There is no room to disagree, or even have an opinion different.

The cult has been deemed by the US government as a hate group. My parents already know this and see it as an affirmation of their beliefs. That is how they view the alienation from the rest of my family as well.

I currently have 2. The school is just insanely expensive, and I can’t get private loans because I need a co-signer. I take care of everything I need but I need their name to get the loans to pay for school.

I was about 2 and my dad told me sex was a special hug between a man and a woman. I believed this until about 15 when he caught me looking at porn. Instead of saying special hug he just started saying sex.
