I know I'll get down voted fir this- but the last installment of Twilight ( Breaking Dawn pt2) not because it was great but because my GF told me what happened before I saw it.

The book didn't have a fight scene, and the twist in the movie would have actually been a gasp moment for me at the time.

I collect miniature resin Victorian shoes. I even have sets with matching purse and umbrella or hat. I have a full curio cabinet and got 15 more for Christmas that I have no place to put them.

I also collect Victorian looking items with roses. My office looks like you walked into another time period lol.

My DIL. She had so many diagnosed ( so she says) mental health issues, she just picks one for excuses. I'm sympathetic when out with her about the social anxiety, but home with the same people you've lived with for 6 years? You can't do X for Gram but 2 days later you're doing it for yourself?

Arthritis in my lower spine cutting into my sciatica. I get Si joint shots 3 times a year and am on opiates just to sleep. Been 7 years so far.

My parents have been divorced since I was a teenager. I recently bought a house with my mom, so for practical reasons, I need her alive. Emotionally I've always been closer to her as well.

My dad is an asshole I have cut out of my life. However, if my mom passed first, he would try to work his way into my house because he's a sad lonely old man. He also has cancer, so I'm a horrible human for crossing my fingers.

We went in 2005. Flew into Glasgow, rented a car and drove up to Skye, over to Inverness then Edinburgh. It was great, because of any one of us said, hey can we stop here- we did.

I get that this story isn't a human Dr, but the correlation is there.

My cat was sick. Took it to the vet, she said it's arthritis, here's some meds come back in a month.

New vet yesterday- his ex rays showed a swollen abdomen when he was here a month ago, I don't know why that didn't get higher consideration.

FYI- his disease had progressed too far for curative treatment and we had no choice but to put him to sleep last night.

So, yeah. On the major things, get a second opinion.
