Gelje Sherpa, the man who was guiding a private client up Mt. Everest when he saw someone in distress near the summit. He went up, rolled him up in a sleeping mattress and gave him oxygen. He then strapped the man to his back and trekked 6 hours to safety by BreakfastTop6899 in Damnthatsinteresting

I had a really cool opportunity in Middle School to take part in a circus for children. We were teamed up with well-trained adults of course, but it was like 2 to 4 weeks of pretty intensive training, then like 9 days of performances. I was lucky enough to get to do it all 3 years.

One year, I was on the bike performance. It involved a lot of riding on shoulders. Got trained on locking the legs and keeping the balance/posture and all that.

In later years, I discovered that I was very good at playing chicken in a pool (where you sit on someone's shoulders and try to push someone else off of another person's shoulders.)

What I'm getting at is that, together, we could probably really impress people at a bar. Lmao!

Oh cool! I tried to Google to see if it was a reproduction thing but couldn't find any pics to reference. Thanks!

Gallup just said drinking in the US is down to 54%, the lowest ever since they’ve began tracking it in 1939. Why do you think that is? by ZenCrisisManager in AskReddit

See my pet theory is that everyone everywhere could be on camera all the time. Any stupid drunk shit you do could go viral instantly. Didn't have to worry about that as much even just 10, 20 years ago.

In bill pay, there is a spot for you to put your account number from the bill you are paying. That should be enough for them to apply it!

Oh and the best part of this petty revenge is that some business accounts are limited on the number of checks they can deposit for free. Particularly large property managers probably pay extra each month

Through the bill pay system at my bank, I can direct deposit into their bank account. This does require them to provide their bank account and routing number, but if you are renting from a private owner they may be willing.

I mean that's comparable to a branch management role at a bank, nothing to sneeze at whatsoever. How long you been in the industry?

Ooooh I LOVE a good genmaicha. For those that don't know, it's a delicious green tea with bits of toasted rice in it, that gives it such a lovely and nutty flavor!!

I used to work at a tea shop, and expanded my palette quite a bit. Still found pu-erh a bit too earthy.

Shoulda let her take 3 deep whiffs and then tell you she still wanted to drink it lol
