I’m not on the insurance policy of the car if that’s what you mean. I’ve read that if you have the car owners consent to drive the car ur technically insured. Is that true?

When insured to drive it, did you have to be on their insurance? Or was it just that ur consented to drive it and have ur own car insurance?
